Crafting bags, then you stop Sub'ing - what happens?

soleil.clercb14_ESO
So you subscribe to ESO Plus.
You get your crafting bags.
You fill them bags with all your items.
Then you stop your subscription and log on.
You won't have access to DLC areas, but will have all your gear from there.
But, what happens to your crafting materials in the bags that previously took up bank/ guild bank/ alts inventory slots???

Up to ZOS to mention that in the big patch notes

but guessing: You will only be able to withdraw items and never store back until you resub again.
"I still do not understand why I followed the advice of Captain Rana to bring the villagers of Bleakrock into safety. We should have fought for our village and not have backed down, with our tail between our legs. Now my home village is in shambles, the houses burning, the invaders feasting.I swear every day to Shor that after Molag Bal has been defeated, I will hunt down the invaders and restore peace in Bleakrock and drink my mead with my friends at the market place".PC-EU

That is my guess. I imagine mailing a large amount of items to you would be unstable.

The whole reason why I can now never even consider subbing. I know I can't afford to do it forever but losing something like that will be too hard.

I assume items would be mailed though, like your guild store items are if you leave a guild.

They most likely won't put them in the crown store. Kinda defeats the purpose of an ESO plus benefit. Plus they will get so many more subs this way. I approve.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Like when you have a guild bank full of stuff but too many people leave and you lose access to the guild bank - you can withdraw but not store items.

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

They've stated before that's it's only for ESO Plus subscribers. Why would they put something in the crown store if it's only for subs?

Regardless, they'll be releasing more info within the next few weeks. No reason to start getting too worried, yet.

Subscribers are just icing on the cake for them. They know a lot of subscribers also purchased the DLC's and if bag space is in the store, they know they will probably buy it just in case.

Too much money to be made off these. If they are not included in the high priced DLC bundle give them no more than 3 months till they are on the store.

Silly way to do it imo. :(

This is one thing I would actually spend real money on....but doing it like this to "persuade" me to sub just leaves a bad taste in my mouth :/

So end result is still no sub,and no cash for them either :D

it will not be available on the crown store, they said this crafting bag is exclusive for ESO+ members.

Edit: a subscription is actually a generous offer, if you would buy crowns anyway - see it like this - a 6-months subscription costs about 66€ - you get crowns worth about 57€ (seen at 5500 crown package level), so it actually cost you just 1.50€ per month to have 10% more XP gain and a crafting bag and DLC access.

I have never considered subbing until now... The problem is I already own all 3 dlcs.. If I were to sub there is no compensation for the crowns already spent is there? That is one reason I will prob not sub because I have already shelled out $60 or more on the DLCs. I think you guys need to offer some type of compensation for first time subs if they already have DLCs or just in general.... If you have never subed and do it we will give you X extra free crowns.

Can we get an idea of how big the bags are? I mean come on, if it is only 50 slots for all crafts that is not going to be very good. Maybe 50 slots per craft: 50 for blacksmithing, 50 for alchemy, etc. Would like to see 100 per craft so we can really build up an inventory of mats. Or one big bag of 300 slots or something.

Pretty sure they said unlimited... It holds all your crafting items.

For me subbing is well worth $15 bucks a month. I get a crown allowance and access to all dlc's but I understand this is not an option for some and I hope ZOS does add the crafting bag to the crown store so everyone can free up some space.

Yes, unlimited, that was my reason to sub, when I heard it is coming, because it makes so much more sense to sub, when you are not permanently bothered with micromanagement of your inventory, bank and guild storage space. DLC access will make a sub more and more valuable with any more DLCs coming out. I bought the first 2 DLCs, because at that time there was no crafting bag in sight - but with this bag, a sub is really useful.

Well I hope they change their minds there is a lot of kids who play this game who's parents aint gonna give them 15 bucks a month for a video game then there are a lot of college kids who play and are tight on money and 15 bucks a month is like a month supply of Ramen noodles! ZoS put it in the crown store make everyone happy and you still make your money ;)
