Nope.
Putting a zoning option at the Alessia bridge is going to be a disaster. You'll just have pileups of groups waiting on the other side of the zone ganking players as they zone in.

The changes they made to the netcode with the Lighting/Craglorn patch ruined the game. Even PVE lagged because of it, and it got worse when they introduced the Champ System.
the only fix that's gonna work is rolling the netcode back to pre-1.2 and using other methods to combat bots...ZOS literally used a sledgehammer to kill a fly and in doing so butchered pvp performance in the process. Split Cyrodiil into pieces isn't going to change that as everyone will just stack in one instance leaving the other 3 empty.
We got robbed of small scale PVP when they canceled the Justice System, a system that was solely opt-in because the RP'ers were made they wouldn't be able to steal things without repercussions, because they should always get away as a thief ya know
I'm a selfish prick.
Hypothetical question.
I do not know if segmenting Cyrodiil into three separate instances would fully fix the lag, but I keep hearing that it might (like in Imp City). If it did, would you be in favor of placing big doors with short load screens at the mile gates and Alessia bridges? Would you sacrifice bridge and gate gameplay to have zero lag?
I pick the gates and bridges because they already segment Cyrodiil into three sections with otherwise impassable mountains / rivers. It would be the practical place to separate instances.
This poll assumes that:
-- the lag would be entirely eliminated
-- load screens would be brief
-- your map would still show all of the action in Cyrodiil
-- gate campers would not be an issue, but does not suggest a solution for them.
Personally, I love the bridge, but I hate the lag more. There are tons of other fun spots to fight on the map.
this will not help to solve lag issue, lags will disappear on instances with zero population, so no. It doesn't even sounds like a dirt fix, it spending time to get negative result.Hypothetical question.
