Question on two flame dots like unstable flame and burning breath stacking?

Yes, if they come from two different players applying the same damage over time effects.
Yes, if you are applying two dots from different spells, they will both deal their dots.
No, if its the same spell being recast coming from the same player, the new one will over-write the old one resetting the duration back to full.
Certain debuffs that apply similar effects like spell penetration will not stack, but only apply which ever is highest.

If it's the same ability/enchantment it won't stack, it'll just refresh. If it's not then it probably will.

Ok so if I use a sword enchanted with flame, then use burning embers the flame enchantment won't stack?I thought the enchantment was applied on each hit, therefore not needing to stack but what your saying is that if they have a poison dot, your poison enchantment on your bow won't hit?

Edit: nvm I think I got confused thinking you were answering his poison question lol

I think it hits, it just refreshes or replaces the other (if it's the same)

Yes if it's the same ability I was wondering if two flame dots from 2 separate skills would stack or not because of then being both flame
