This isn't just a throve issue, happens with ore, plants, wood, locked chests, and the aspect runes when people see Ta also.
It would be so nice if they added a mechanic to all nodes, where if any part of it has been looted(or in case of Ta just even looked at) the node will disappear after 30-45 seconds allowing it to respawn later.

I run into plenty of troves, and take all the stuff out when I find them. Makes no sense to leave it because you'll just bork the next spawn point anyway. A lot of them are in places you can make a route out of and hit up to 7 in a run if you time it right.
Don't get why people would leave behind runes either. Seems dumb.

It's not a Trove problem, it's a selfish arse problem.

Ta Runes are junk and too common, making it easy for them to pile up. You get plenty of them extracting looted glyphs.

So loot them and destroy them. Leaving Ta on nodes makes Ta even more common.
This is a variation of the tragedy of the commons scenario. Selfish players acting only in their self-interest make things worse for everyone; including themselves.

Because you actually bother to learn?

Well, Ta runes are rarely sold in guild stores, at least I did not see a lot of those. Guess there might be rules in place from guild leader's side, which make them just list the higher value runes - and if they cannot sell them and not need those, well, they leave it there.

I disagree. Ta are almost worthless. They sell for what? 1-2g each? If you can find someone willing to pay for them. By leaving the Ta there, as probably a lot of people do, other more valuable runes will not spawn.
This is why everyone thinks the drop rate of Kuta was nerfed. It wasn't. What actually happened was a lot of players stopped looting Ta.

And I have, but only through my guild and the forum - but I am saying others may not realise.... I'm sure not everyone is acting selfishly....

Ta's worth is in it's expendability for Writs. Those with 100s of Ta Runes like myself would rather obtain no more but not everyone is loaded with them.

I'm not saying they have no use. However, their gold value via traders is reflective of demand: almost none. By leaving a Ta on a node, you are doing more harm than good.
In contrast, worms/crawlers are worth far more than Ta. So leaving a Ta on a node is even more annoying and impactful.
I would bet a large majority of ESO players have more Tas than they need/want. If all of those players are leaving Tas on nodes, that is going to significantly reduce the rate at which new Kutas appear in the world. This behavior accounts for the scarcity and therefore high price of Kuta.
