Love the top and the skirt, but I'd rather my girl be wearing some kind of shoes or boots instead of sandals. She IS an adventuring warrior after all. She doesn't want the blood and ashes of cultists and Daedra mucking her feet.

Forsworn Armour says hi. Skyrim was, however, the Elder Scrolls game with the lowest amount of revealing outfits. Methinks you're mistaking another game franchise, perhaps Nun Simulator, with the Elder Scolls.
I forgot about that set, but that's one out of how many armor sets and different games? I played Morrowind to Skyrim and I don't remember any of them be all "Ooo look, Armor bikini." Other than that set they all covered more area of the skin and where practical. Only mods went skin ***.

I somewhat like the roman styled soldier sandals of the 700 crown outfit, but those flip flop like sandals of the cheaper one do not look very practical for adventuring, but more for running some house chores or maybe what the name of the outfit suggests - climbing. But even for that these kind of footwear are pointless, barefoot would give more grip and flexibility. So what do I suggest?- Maybe remove the flip flops and make it into what would be best for climbing?- barefoot?
Or ZOS can finally let us hide other pieces besides just the head and I can go barefoot.

Pretty nice, aye.
Wish there was a third one with some metal braces and knee guards or something to give it a little more protection and milk the barbarian-warrior look.

Maybe there will. If they do the same they did for Breton, Orc and Redguard outfits, there will be a third one for 1000 Crowns.
Nothing datamined yet, though.

Not sure if serious.KhajiitiLizard wrote: »
This what needs to be looked at... why this mess? Why not just show the underwear on the character models under it. I mean, you can already not wear anything and the underwear shows so there's no reason not to.
It just looks wrong... like a pair of legs coming out of... I don't know how to explain it... a strange mass of something.

Skirt and sandals is still not a good look for a guy, the top doesn't make or break this for male characters.MornaBaine wrote: »I rather wish they had done a male version with just the skirt. There's also tribal people that wear a long pointy *** sheath tied by a string to their waist to cover their privates...it's normal to them but would look ridiculous in game similar to the short skirt and sandals (it looks more feminine then tribal).Well, tribal cultures wear stuff similar to this - males as well - loincloth, wrap-around skirt like clothing. That you experience that as "does not look good on males" is just, because you are not used to such a culture. It is just like some women would not agree with that going topless is acceptable - but in some cultures this is absolutely normal - take for example the Zulu in south africa. Their virgin women are topless, that is what shows, that they are still virgin. This is not seen as perverted in such cultures, but it's normality. They have a right to live in the ways of their culture, just like we feel entitled to ours.

It's ok if you like that sort of thing but as a man I think it looks comical and wouldn't be able to take this any more seriously then the guys in wedding dresses and pink genie harem clothes.

Clearly they didn't plan on people trying to peek at panties...shame on you Zeni for not thinking of pervy players

Don't misunderstand me, I might make fun of fake people looking funny but I don't judge real people for doing what feels good to them. I know a guy that cross-dresses and while it weirds me out slightly (I can't deny my natural feelings) I don't judge or make him feel weird about it. I'm the type to defend the ones getting picked on by everyone else. It's all a matter of culture, true. Scots wear their kilts with pride and they do not see them as unmanly at all. It's their tradition. Some people might find that ridiculous, but it is a matter of tolerance and respect. Do we want to be as intolerant as people in the past were or will we be able to be more tolerant and accept that different cultures have different ways to dress and that this is perfectly ok. I am for being that tolerant and respectful - but I feel as a world citizen and I see other cultures as my fellow citizens, I am curious about their cultures and I am not going to blame them for their traditional ways.
I think that Bosmer are a tribal culture and that these kind of outfits are perfectly fine for them. And as a tribal culture in a warm rain forest climate - as I picture their origin - it is natural and clever, to wear less clothes, in order to give the skin a chance to not be permanently wet of sweat. This is a necessity, not a matter of fashion, we should accept that.
I haven't decided which one to get but I really like both.
Oddly enough the only thing making me hesitate is the lore. They'd look brilliant on my khajiit, but a khajiit in bosmer clothing? (Especially one who high-tailed it to Daggerfall as soon as the Dominion showed up?)
I guess I could say she...borrowed them.
Definitely vanilla Oblivion. Check out http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Clothing and search the page for "Huntsman". The icons are relatively small, but you can see the shape of the clothing pieces.SerpentbreeD wrote: »No, because the elder scroll series was never about skimpy wear, and that's all that stuff is.

Oblivion's Huntsman Leathers:
I'm talking about the female version. Before you say that the female version is wearing pants, please look at where the hole in the pants is.
I've never seen that outfit, ever. Are you sure that's not a mod? I can tell that picture as a body overhaul mod in use since the Oblivion character models where.... well bad.
