Is it intended that you can cloak meteors?

The only reason why nightblades can cloak meteor but dks can't reflect it - needs to burn stamina tho blocking - is, that zenimax leader is playing nightblade on northamerican server nothing else. Nightblade is a cheatclass, in no other game the enemy is able to escape instantly out of combat when his health is dropping.

We learn Nightblade = Cheat = Players they can't face you, players they need to cover and hide to fight against someone.

Watch Blobs on eu server thats how a nightblade is designed, cloaking only 1 time in 20sec for like 3 seconds. But the most guys hear going on 1 shot builds and cloak away 20000000meters and try it again...

    L2P

Nightblades are designed to be stealthy Assassins. Are you also mad when Templars Heal and Tank with the best heal in the game more spell damage more healing, same rage for them? How about when a Sorcerer Streaks while inside the best shield in the game hitting you with delayed burst that you just can use a HoT to get though. Let use not forget those super cheat Dragon Knights that have the best ranged and Melee damage defenses hands down.

Ohh and do you Healing award with 3k+ damage and CP into buffing healing cause you're pretty hard to kill 1v1 if you can do my Sorcerer Mage can bolt from anything Bolt twice lay down Mines wait Bolt roll Magicka pot Bolt, Defensive Rune, Bolt, Bolt Bolt.

Nightblades using Nightblade powers to win is how we play maybe it's your turn to L2P.
P.S. Lets review Dark Cloak can't be targeted, 3% more health from Shadow Passives, 8% less damage for five seconds new effect, 5120 Shadow Barrier and let's you stun with Veiled Strike (Concealed Weapons and Surpise Attack) yea using it only once every 20 seconds best use of your main defense.

Great, I get the stealth play. I play both a stam and a magicka NB. And it is cheesy that you can break the targeting of a meteor with cloak. It would be one thing if you hit cloak right as the meteor was launched and movied away from your position and as a result the meteor couldn't track you and still hit the ground, and thus had a chance to hit you if you didn't move quick enough or at least deal its dmg to others at the impact site. Instead, you see a meteor is targeting you and hit cloak, the meteor is cancelled. That has nothing to do with 'ninja' stealth. It is a lame mechanic.

Justify it how you will, but it is just as lame as shield stacking on a magicka sorc (and I play a magicka Sorc as well).

I brought it up on their PTS feedback NB threads awhile ago but it was ignored, back when the whole meteor was unreflectable thing.

I have never tested it, but I wonder if invisibility pots negate meteors as well, or any other ultimates as well?

I say everyone start running invisibility pots and negate all ultimates in the game, because if you can't be seen, you can't be targeted...and if you can't be targeted, you can't be damaged ~ rational of all Nightblades

Wonder if this will be fixed if Dragon Leap misses, Dawn Breaker misses, Atronoch misses, Bats miss, Soul Tether misses, etc...they will all miss because invisible/stealth players are ninjas...and ninjas are not only invisible but defy the laws of physics in that they are also not physical matter and everything will pass right thru them.

With further consideration, if ultimates and single target skills miss, I guess AoEs should miss as well. We should all be invincible ninjas or unkillable shield stacking Sorcs in PvP.

Yeah this is really frustrating. I will stop using meteor in PVP if this is the case. Cloak renders you invisible - it isn't as though you aren't physically there anymore. I just summoned a meteor out of the sky that blew up the area that you are still occupying. It makes no sense to be able to cloak and not be hit by it, but I had it happen to me multiple times last night. As if NBs needed another perk in PVP. Please fix this mechanic.

I'm not so sure, ask Wrobel.

Since where on the topic of physics which one says that a attack using a 1 hand swinging your weapon from one side of your body towards the other using you're shoulder muscles hits as hard as something that takes two hands to use? Not only does it look kinda weird, but backhand slapping surprise attacks are kinda on the same level.

That is one of the reasons they gave stealth to everybody in ESO.. Imo, I would appreciate an MMO without a stealther class! :)

In World of Warcraft we had a video (first 1-2y. after release) where a stealther demonstrated how he killed other players even without wearing any armor, just by using the skills from stealth he did OP damage. That was -in some way- very unbalanced!
In Daoc (also in the beginning) we had also one stealther class (Midgard) with the same strenghts...

Stealthers are very often (!) too strong in MMOs. So, if you played many MMOs, you can say that picking either a Sorcerer or a Stealther at the beginning of the game was a good decision and gave you huge advantages, as these two classes are often OP. (Firemage in Warhammer online: 100% crit chance and 300% more crit damage for a LOOONG time, enemies dropped like flies and, with a healer, it was god-mode..).

Such errors often taken months, in the worst case years, for the game developers to admit they did something wrong and to patch it..

You should have been there when Rogues were the god class of Everquest. Me and friend regularly paired up to wipe out entire raid groups that were camping spawn sites or waiting to enter dungeons - the rage from people was real, especially since we could loot them, and did so. There was no stopping a Rogue at that point in time. Permastealth, highest single target damage output in the entire game, easiest class to hit crit and other caps with, and easiest to gear for. It went unchanged for a VERY long time.

Meteor un-reflect-able and cloak Meteor is 2 different things. They made it un-reflect-able because they don't want your Ult be used and turn back to harm yourself, sometime with increase damage (looking at you, flappy flap flap DK). But they didn't say Ult can't be avoid. You can break free from Negate, you can walk away from DK standard, you can dodge Soul Harvest, or overload... Avoid something and using it to turn against its caster is 2 different things.

Bad, meteor is first directly dmg, need have block than cloak DOT. Same as negate-first braek free than use abilities.

Even more of a reason to dislike the Nightblade class, and groan whenever hearing about them in general. So let's see here:
    - Soul Tether spam bs.
    - Sap essence spam bs.
    - Lotus Fan spam bs.
    - Proximity detonation bs with cloak.
    - All the above but combined with the Vicious Death set.
    - Dodges your Meteor(s) with cloak bs.

Yep. I definitely am not setting foot in this game for a while. Especially not Cyrodiil. Bad as it is, people are making Nightblades just to use FOTM builds in PVP with and talk about how cool they are for ganking. No thanks. There's better games out there, with better class balance for PVP.

-Yea Tether is pretty good but besides the stun it's Bats so stun the drop bats same thing. PS how do you spam a 150 cost Ultimate???
-Sap Essence a Healing Attack so glad no other class but Templars, Dragon Knights and Sorcerers can do that.
-A snare with a DoT? That's not OP or strong it's weaker then Ambush cause who can't eat that DoT.
-So glad again that no class can cast it behind a tree, rock or corner then gap close that would be unfair.
-After seeing the ring on the ground block pop a stamina potion and move out of the AoE.

Besides your nonexistent point you make a good point.

Unless I have One Hand and Shield and Defensive Stance sword and board sucks for DPS but that reflect.

@Ch4mpTW you see thinking outside of the box and making builds that can counter all class is how you win just cause you run around Cyrodiil with 16k health and never fought a Sorcerer ever you never learned to Combat delayed damage that comes with a Stun.

The best part about cakeblades is that it is easy to tell who they are.
They launch off the combo that clearly killed them before they rerolled, then when that fails they faceplant.
Get killed by Vicious Death --> Reroll Nightblade --> Get killed trying to use Vicious Death.
