PvP needs their own master weapons.

More incentive needs to be put in place for the players who only support this game by logging in to PvP. Master weapons should be added into the game for PvPers, and can be sold by the PvP weekly vendor for 10+ million AP.

    PvE Group Arena (DSA) gets a batch of Master Weapons. (community calls them "master weapons")

    PvE Solo Arena (MA) gets a batch of Maelstrom Weapons. (community calls them "maelstrom weapons")

    PvP Alliance War gets..... a batch of Daggerfall/Ebonheart/Dominion Honor Weapons? Sounds logical to me. (community calls them "alliance weapons" or "honor weapons")

    Make them available for 10,000,000AP per weapon. They would buff either the 3rd, 4th, or 5th skill from each weapon skill line.

    Tbh, the best PVE gear should always exceed the best PVP gear- otherwise it becomes extremely difficult to get into PVP, what with everyone else being able to crush you with the gear you can't get because they're crushing you.

    It'll be nice honestly. Getting tired trying to get a competent group of pvers for hours on end to complete content just to get the BiS loot so it's been taking away my pvp time by a lot.

    Enough with giving ^&%$ to people who don't work for a living. Track solo kills to deaths ratio and give THAT top 5 for the week master weapons.

    Good point, it is already a pain as it is to gear up full impen and max cps, then to have to get a master pvp weapon would be even more of a grind . I just really don't like the idea of master weapons to begin with and wished it was just like a costume for your weapon that makes it look super bad ass or something.

    That would just ensure only gankers get them. Agree that top 10 AP is not a good measure of much of anything.

    Seperate PVP gear from PVE gear entirely.
    I love both aspects of the game. I don't mind the grind all over again, especially with a new format to follow.

    PVE stuff should be good for PVE only stuff.

    Make an additional stat required for PVP like player damage resistance(to start) on PVP gear. Such as Resilience like in WoW.

    Just make master/maelstrom weapons bind on equip. So i can buy them from people who actually play that content.

    Why can't they just update the Master Weapons that are ALREADY IN THE GAME to V16 and give them out as end of campaign rewards LIKE THEY USED TO DO.

    Why does every cool thing that happened before the shift to V16 have to stay forever underleveled?

    Ah I Absolutely loved that aspect personally. It made grinding PVE specifically for PVE and made grinding PVP specifically for PVP.
    Two completely different play styles/gear and had two completely different ways to acquire the gear for them.

    WHY?

    Not all of us LIKE to grind PVE for good weapons,
    Some of us play strictly PVP and now you want to force us to PVE to get the best...

    Why not just stick to saying that they should be equal in what they give..

    Instead of it costing AP, I would rather see it as given to the people who contributed to the war effort you must repair a certain amount of wall hp, capture a certain amount of objectives, killed enemy faction players of each class(certain number for each class) while taking said objective, to qualify for said weapon. Defending side should only apply to keeps.

    People wouldn't agree with this because that means they would have to give up ganking/easy kills/pug farming.

    They already don't do that, because half of the PvPers I know from the guilds I am in log out after they've had their fun in IC or Cyrodil for the day and don't even look twice at any of the PvE content. That's a pretty significant number of players out of 400+ member guilds.

    I'm not asking in a "I know I'm right" kinda way, just genuinely curious because I imagined a lot of top players' PvP builds would've incorporated at least one of these if they wanted to min/max. For example having 5x VD (obviously this is just Magicka builds) forces you to go either:
    1. A Monster set piece + weapons in a crafted set or
    2. A Maelstrom/Master weapon + head/shoulder in a crafted set

    Obviously people who don't use VD could go with 5x crafted and 3x agility/willpower but then the additional crafted set piece bonus to include weapons for 3/3 are typically inferior to what Maelstrom/Master weapons bring.

    Getting stuff done in pvp is 10x way easier than pve (and no I'm not including Maelstrom). I can go in pvp solo or with a small group easily and get stuff done, and you don't even need BiS pve gear to avoid getting crushed. With pve I have to find people for hours to days just to get a trials group and then when I get a trials group, most people can't beat it. It also takes me hours to find people to do dungeons with. I don't have this issue at all with pvp. Grab one or two friends from my friends list or guild list, and hop right in to pvp in just a few min vs me getting people to do stuff in pve which takes hours and days for preparation.

    Some of them did get those gear sets, many of them didn't bother, as they find PvE content so unappealing they just rolled with crafted gear, scrounged up what Skyshards they could to get the skills they wanted and then never looked back.

    I'm surprised that they still haven't updated Master weapons to vet16 for end of campaign rewards.

    PvP does have some nice sets that you can't get in PvE areas. But we should still have end game weapon sets available for people who only PvP.

    Maybe with Dark Brotherhood?

    ALL weapons/armour/etc should be bind on equip. Do away with the bind on pickup and the player economy will improve.

    I'm guessing, mind you I'm only guessing, that this will be fixed when vet levels are removed. Then the weapon levels will be based on CPs. And so will the trials and everything else that people want to see scaled to v16. With vet level being removed (hopefully) in a few months, it's sort of pointless to scale everything up to v16 now. It should have been done a half a year ago.

    10m AP? Not everyone can sit in game all the time, it would be simpler to make magsorc from scratch and grind vMSA for all master weapons than get 1/3 part of your requested price, and i'm saying this as a guy who 90% time spend on pvp. Not everyone run in zerg and do nothing except execute spam.

    PVP master wep must drop with the same rules as it was before - in 2% top players mail

    I disagree. The whole point of this game is that items are viable in all situations (meaning both PvP and PvE).

    I do believe the the effects of those same items should have different impacts and logic based results that differ in PvP from PvE like the recent Sorc and Templar changes.

    I'm guessing, mind you I'm only guessing, that this will be fixed when vet levels are removed. Then the weapon levels will be based on CPs. It should have been done a half a year ago.

    And what's to stop them from raising the CP cap to 600 and creating a whole new tier of gear so that we have to re-grind everything again, and ever vendor we have not, including the tel var vendor in the imperial city will now be underleveled again for another 6 months? Maybe they can require 500 unstackable materials for endgame armor. Sounds fun doesn't it. Of course you can only get that new material tier in the Dark Brotherhood DLC.
