A popular streamer admitted to doing it, he even had someone else stream on his account and as far as i know they didnt get banned. you can see the hypocrisy by zos when they ban "regular" players and let others walk away. hell many of us have been here just as long. what youre seeing is blatant (and now officially awknowledged) favoritism
im sure someone else with your mindset will care when they are wrongfully banned for playing at an internet cafe or lan partyHow they detect it, is none of my problems, I have agreed to the TOS and I am not going to share and that's it. If that is detectable or not, is irrelevant to me, I am not doing it, period.

Don't think that's true. If I was banned they wouldn't lift it!

I comepletly rebuilt my pc even reinstalled windows and it still didnt ask me to verify. Only when I tried to login from a different area did it send it. Like when I was visiting a friend and used his wifi to play.
I admitted my fault.
Went through the same appeal processes that everyone goes through.
Got a second chance.
Streamer Privledge? Not really. Another player who isn't a streamer got unbanned within the same time frame and was under the same circumstances.
I apologize and will abide by the TOS.

ur not the issue ZO$ is
1) the dude helped the community
2) the dude helped ZOS with testing and reporting bugs
3) the dude -sort of- advertising the game
for me as a player, he just helped me, made guides for me and so on to get me along with eso and play it
for ZOS as a company, he helped by alot of things
also re-read the mod statement:
"We do not allow account sharing to protect our players from the following:
Gold Farmers/Sellers
Account Hacking
"
did he hack accounts? did he farm/sell gold?
stop crying about him, he did nothing but good for the community AND developers.
community loves him
developers glade there are a dude like him around
jealousy belong to 14 years old girls in the club, leave it there
@Sypher I have no issues with you, bruh. None. And I know tons of people like you, and respect you. I find a few of your videos on YouTube insightful myself. But, n'ah bro. There are people who don't get a second a chance, for FAR less serious offenses. And because you're basically an e-celebrity, and helped ZO$ advertise their game — you get a second chance? No. Absolutely no. No. That is NOT okay. You should be banned, and remain as such. But, because you're putting money you are putting money in their pockets, you get another shot? Really? Because you're a "poster boy" for ESO PVP? No. Absolutely no.

As I said appearances are everything. to the average player on the outside looking in this is what they see. They see a system that appears corrupt in handing out uneven enforcements of arbitrary terms that are heavy handed to some and slaps on the wrists to others for infered reasons and this is just simply a bad image to allow to transpire.
How ZOS moves forward will be telling

Basically what you are saying is BECAUSE of all these things I have done I should NOT be given a second chance. So, no one should be given a second chance is what you're implying? Because plenty of people have been given second chances in the past, including today. (not just me)

Yep. And it appears that you get special treatment if you're putting money into the hands of the content providers, to the point you forgo ban decisions. Bad move. @Sypher knows he should be banned, but is being safeguarded and his hand being held by the staff at ZO$. Gotta love when the game of "Playing Favorites" gets played even on a business and corporate level, as shown with ZO$.
It's to the point people in area chat on PS4 are snapping right now, and cussing up a storm. I'd record it, and post it via YouTube video, but I don't want to get banned for posting explicit content. But yeah, people are certainly unhappy about this special treatment. And are very vocal about it right now. The hate toward streamers and ZO$ is in rare form this evening.
People get banned and then given second chances like every week, all ZOS did was explain why they were given a chance in this particular instance. Normally when people are given second chances nobody bats an eye, but since it's a high-profile instance everybody and their mom (Hi mom!) has heard about it, so of course they're going to come forward with their rationale. This isn't special treatment, it's just the only time so many people felt the need to scrutinize.

Except that they admitted it was special treatment. Other than that I agree.
Generally speaking, it is acceptable to ask questions about the TOS and the forum rules. However, the query can't be tied explicitly or implicitly to a specific incident. This thread was locked for the latter, and we were also getting a large number of threads explicitly discussing the ban at the time.So... this thread got re-opened? Does this mean that it is OK to ask questions about what is and isn't allowed under the Terms of Service and the rationale behind them? Because that's what was going on here when the thread got locked.

Well I will expect that I be given a second chance in case I do something wrong because I have been a subscriber since launch and I have bought plenty of mounts and costumes. I have put hundreds of dollars into the game so I would say that's enough contribution to get at least 3 "get out of jail free" cards right?
