    Man I miss the old console silent cold siege kills. Its one guy. Just move. Oh you cant see the red circle? How about the huge stone hurling through the air? FFS I wish folks spent half as much time coming up with a solution to their problem through better play than crying about it.

    An emperor does more damage, if this applies to siege awesome. You think its his job to be ulti spamming you instead? Tava's blessing for the win.

    Siege Shield provides 35% damage mitigation to siege.

    24k damage if you had it up. Should have left you with enough health to heal, since stone trebs don't leave a dot. Treb also has to reload, so the player isn't spamming it.

    Wow! I can't believe it! A Zheg response that is only two sentences; am I in the alternate universe?

    Seriously though you run with, on average, 20+ people. Are you telling me that not one of those people can pop a siege shield when you stop to burst groups? What about having two people open up another outer wall or the other inner postern? Ernie is only human and can't cover all the breaches with Cold Stone Trebuchets.

    And the few times we're able to actually make it past the hordes being stacked in ales/chalman/whatever on the outer and somehow manage to make it to the inner where he drops a single treb on a flag and it's done? I pushed into an inner like that a few days ago with 11 people (while blues pushed in through another breach) and went splat as soon as you reach the flag. You act like siege damage is the only damage you ever take "oh, siege shield would only have you take 24k damage, you should be able to heal through that hurr hurr" - yeah... ok, ONLY 24k damage. I'd also point out that siege shield is stupidly expensive, and with how expensive purge is and how often heals and purges need to be going out on this meta, pretending like you can put a siege shield every where you go at all times (I guess we're expected to put it down in tandem as we run too?) is moronic, and I'd expect better of good players.

    What part of an instant 24k hit (after mitigation) sounds reasonable to you?
    Keep in mind this is all going on while fighting wave after wave of enemies. They can also use more than one siege, and siege from a non-emp hits for a ridiculous amount as well. This all adds up to huge sums of incoming damage. We have no mobility due to the rapids nerf, we have lackluster mitigation due to barrier, and players have more burst now than Meth in his prime emp days.

    I've always valued the opinions of the elderly ESO players, but I'm finding it very hard to respect your point of view on this.

    Quit acting stupid, I know you're more knowledgeable than this. Look at it from the POV of an enemy having emp.

    If u want to become emp u dont use Siege keeps cause u are Farming Ticks and AP , but if u get crowned u only use Stone Cold trubuchets again Enemy players

    for me it makes no sense...

    That's an honest answer I guess, if not a sad one.

    I remember last week before my vacation going for a dethrone. Pushed up top on the inner to watch you jump OFF the inner keep, scurry to the outer wall and put up a cold stone treb. TS was all kinds of "are you serious?"

    But yeah, I guess I get it. Why use emperor strength and attack power to brawl with enemy groups when you can use a confirmed bug to one shot them?

    Got Hit for 25k Cold fire balist this past weekend myself. 1.0 It's alright though! Once AD kicked the door down, I looked for the emp and cut off his head. 1.0 Had a good round of laughs since I got a Revenge Kill achievement and Emperor Slayer achievement all in one gift basket. 1.0

    Of course 37k and 24k hits are not reasonable; anyone in their right mind will agree on that point. However, I've been around for a long time and I know it will take Zenimax a few months to get around to fixing it. What does coming on the forums and complaining about it do for me? Nothing. I can scream until I'm blue in the face and they will fix it on their time table, so until then I might as well put my efforts toward learning how to avoid or mitigate it.

    Currently the only way to mitigate it is siege shield and the only way to avoid it is to open up more breaches, so the emperor has to guess which one you'll come through. Of course, he could wait on the front flag with one aiming on the back flag, but at that point all you have to do is go straight to mid and jump down on top of him. Anywhere else he'll have to re-position and your group, even with the rapids nerf, can get to him before he's able to one shot the whole group.

    Anyway, I don't expect you to agree with me, but that's my view on the subject.

    Let him have the siege damage, that's all he has got.
    This recent update has made me sad. Sad for the game. Sad for the community. Sad to pay whatever it is now. I want the previous eso back.
