Either make the bonus damage only apply to structures or fix the issues with your game that prevents the red circle from rendering on my screen when the performance goes down the toilet (which is in every keep fight in which an emperor uses siege).

I would prefer emperors not be motivated to point and click with items in their inventory, but that is just my humble opinion.
Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    You should have used the grouping tool located in the Group menu.

    But honestly I do not see why emp needs to get ANY bonus siege damage; even to structures. An emp will either a) roll with a group capable of bringing down wall quickly, or b) attract enough of a zerg to a keep that they will be able to get the wall down. I am all for any changes that prevent ~5 minute keep takes, since decent length keep battles are my favorite part of PvP currently.

Because an 8 k shield is f ing useless. Died because of baddies on the forum. Too much qq too little pew pew. 16 AD 2 DC. 0 EP cause they bad, CP 2300 plus 18 level 50 toons. NA, PC, Grey Host#SORCLIVESMATTER actually they don’t or they wouldn’t keep getting nerfed constantly.

    Unless I missed a patch note somewhere, purge doesn't prevent incoming siege damage.

    I saw a terrible emp 1 shot a zerg with a cold fire ballista, wearing vicious death.

    It's amazing how this bug was around in beta.

    Fixed in beta.

    Popped up again in approx. 1.4

    Fixed in an undocumented 1.4 incremental

    Popped up again, (I think) mid-end 1.5

    Still not fixed.

    24k damage if you had it up. Should have left you with enough health to heal, since stone trebs don't leave a dot. Treb also has to reload, so the player isn't spamming it.

    I don't see the issue here..

    The issue is lag, and that he never gets to see then if ke before death. He isn't wrong...

    The dot is not the problem when the initial hit does 40k+, that's just stupid.

    I'd say the issue isn't as much the insane damage (I can point out numerous other insane burst damage setups) but that you can't see the circle and react in time. That's the part that needs to be fixed. If you can see the circle and are able to move around with minimal lag then the problem becomes less of an issue.

    And when you're fighting the horde at a keep and there are 20/20 defensive siege up peppering every entrance? Does it help seeing the red circles all that much when the entire area is covered in them and you're playing Russian roulette trying to guess which is the emp siege?

    It shouldnt do more damage than the already overtuned regular siege, period.

    Did everyone forget this is a bug? Remember it was changed in 1.2 to stop emperor ground oils?

    It came back when they messed with former emp passives and had to fix emp wall siege damage, they put this back in and i am 100 percent sure its a bug and not intentional.

    I will say that I think the red circles are broken. When DC busted through Chal last night, I managed to get to the oil line. After killing the cherry on the oil line, I put one of my own up. You would not believe how many cherries stood still in the oil and died thinking it was friendly oil. They must have not seen a red circle. One even tried to put up a fire ballista while my oil rained down on his head.

    It could always be worse. At least he doesn't run vicious death with emperor trebuchets like I used to do on Haderus.

    Wow! I can't believe it! A Zheg response that is only two sentences; am I in the alternate universe?

    Seriously though you run with, on average, 20+ people. Are you telling me that not one of those people can pop a siege shield when you stop to burst groups? What about having two people open up another outer wall or the other inner postern? Ernie is only human and can't cover all the breaches with Cold Stone Trebuchets.

    Sieging is all Emperors do these days because its so incredibly overpowered.

    Without siege shield 32k hits are pretty common, which is basically an one-shot kill for 98% of the players in Cyrodiil. The red circle that indicates that siege has been fired is often difficult to see among all the ground effects.

    But balance is totally fine, a left mouse click should be rewarded with one-shot kills once you're emperor I guess.

    For anyone who hasn't been hit by this, it's a lot like the Trap Beast bug. I don't always see the indicator and then I'm dead. I can't blame Big Ernie for using it, I just don't want to hear the crying when it's a DC or AD emp using at at EP.

    BTW Trap Beast was fixed pretty quick, why not this?

    I can't use this bug to farm PvE Dungeons with 400k DPS though, so its not worth being fixed
