We understand that this also impacts the final day for our Anniversary Event, but because we have already extended the event by two days, we do not plan to extend it an additional time.
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused, and appreciate your patience while we continue maintenance. There will still be a patch today that will include some bug fixes, and those patch notes will be published very soon.
@ZOS_GinaBruno But you didn't extend it 2 days you extended 1 day since the server has been DOWN for a day.

And we will be extending cake time an additional 3 days to make up for this huge inconvenience to our fans and thank you for your support, patience, and understanding.
The extension (2 days) was not because of our blunder, and yet we have lost another day because of yet another blunder. The time should stop when the servers are down PERIOD!

It's certainly not okay to shoot the messenger, but could you maybe relay to those responsible for the bolded portion that this is... erhrm... somewhat of a ripoff?
I get that you can't just extend stuff like that on a whim. But I'd like to point out that this is the first real event that has occurred to-date in ESO, and it was botched twice. The bottom line is that the players are suffering for ZOS's mistakes here. Believe me, I'm not trying to make this personal or act like sometimes you don't find a wrench in the gears, but it is bad practice to leave the cost to the customer.

6hr patch maintenance, lol, try 8 hr or more likely 10hr downtime. And then you'll have another 4 hrs tomorrow to hot fix the stuff this patch messed up

My question is,how is it a ripoff when it wasnt in the game when you bought it,nor was it something announced as a permanent thing. Just a small fun perk for their anniversary. I'd love it if we had more time with it,but it will be gone today.
Personally.I am thankful that they decided to give us something at all for the anniversary. It could have came and went without issue, but they were being nice and giving us a bit of extra for a few days.
(I just took a bit of time off working on my mod,to come here and also to search for a mod for MW that has lots of housing items, etc.)

On an unrelated note, subscription fees are now $50 / month or $750 annually.

Well,..after taking a look through the forums,..its off to Morrowind for me. I'm still working on a mod for it.

Rip off? Cost? You didn't pay for the anniversary event. It was free. We had a good run, move on.
