if you go vMA seeking 1 specified weapon with 1 specified trait you gonna have a bad time, you shall know that before talking to the NPC and taking vMA clearing quest

Wow. I've just recently started farming vMA and Im getting bow after bow. 6 in a row now including the weekly reward. My buddy said he had a streak of 8 in a row once. Is this normal for the rest of you? Does the bow drop more frequently or is it just my bad luck?

With my score 462820 I didn't make the leaderboard closing. I was on first place for a whole day. Then more people ran it. The cheaters running other people's chars for real money usually do it on weekends. By Monday (leaderboard closing), I was below top 100 with my score and did not get a reward. The lowest score was 464k, so yes, I was pretty close.

I know you in game (even though I'm in another faction). I know you're not a cheater and I have lots of respect for your skills. Regarding the mundus stones, only the new character exploit got fixed (where you could pick up all mundus stones with a new char and keep them). The exploit with CE and TBS is still working and I've been reporting it for quite some time now. Admittedly, it requires third-party software to use it, which makes it less popular to "fair" players (most people believe it's not an exploit if it's purely in game).

I can't speak for EP. I can only speak for DC. I know people that use additional mundus stones and I can't blame them. It makes it much easier to compete with those that (professionally) put dozens of other people's characters on the leaderboard with cheats for real money.

I have to ask, when was that 462K that didnt make the leaderboards? What class was it? That score seems about right based on the time after the update. Time is far more important than deaths or sigils it seems. I am just curious because like i said, 460K is a pretty normal score for me post update. I have been going for the no-death achievement for the last few weeks, so I havent really been trying to push score and have been rather liberal with sigils until I die the first time. I think I got 463k last week which was 5 deaths and probably 8 sigils (round 7 got away from me). I never saw the final standings, but it definitely made the weekly, and I am pretty sure it was by a comfortable margin.

I think its bad luck unfortunately. I have still never seen an Ice Staff or 2 Handed Axe in any trait, but I have at least one of everything else. For whatever reason, I seem to have enough Resto Staves and Sword and Boards to equip a small army. I had a span where I got S/B from 4 out of 5 weeklys, and I had I think I had at least three Restos before I saw a second type of weapon. I only have one bow, but fortunately it is in a good trait.

But alas, this is the problem with RNG. Because it is random, there is no way to be certain. It is statistically possible (albeit improbable) to get a hundred bows in a row. If that happens, is it because you are seeded, the drop rate is higher for that weapon, or is it RNG. There is just no way to be 100% certain.

They are necessary because the content will become irrelevant if its just some farm for maelstrom weps and move on arrangement. I've completed it on a stam NB20+ times and its only 10 minutes slower than on a magica sorc.Front bar vigor and its easy mode. On the notion of the perfect weapon its like you're never going to get exactly what you want but you will actually appreciate it when you're one of the few people with a maelstrom 2h maul (Precise) . You will also think twice when someone who has barely run maelstrom wants it to be super cheesy easy after you dedicated 100+ hours to farming it already. Its been released the rules are set stop the crying.

They already nerfed vMA with the Thieves' Guild patch, a lot of the minibosses have around half as much hp.

If you call for a nerf now, you have a long way to go before you deserve good weapons.

It was 2 or 3 weeks ago.

The cut-off this time was 4598XX (we're talking Nightblade, right?), so I wouldn't call that a comfortable margin. I didn't make it with 453k, because I kept dying to round 4 in arena 8 and had 2 other unfortunate deaths.

I know 1 person who has paid for I think 5 of his toons to get leader board. It's bs, this guy couldn't even finish it, never farmed or practiced it, then all of a sudden BAM he's up in the top 5-10 on each class.

All I ask is for them to make Maelstrom Arena Client side. I am an Australian with at best 400 ping. I have been dropped many times losing my place in the arena (Obviously pre Thieves Guild), and get teleported around and killed by things that simply don't hit me.

I know the arena well and have made it to the final boss many times. Unfortunately, when I die more often to a lag spike or bug than a mistake, it really takes the fun out of it.
