ZOS Is there a way to turn off Notifications from PVP?

Is there a way we can turn off notifications from PvP campaigns when we are in PvE?

Last night I was running Dragonstar Arena. Obviously it's a full on event that needs concentration. Every couple of minutes I was getting notifications of who has taken the scroll in Thornblade. Massive text on the screen when I am not in Thornblade campaign and really couldn't care who has the scroll as I am trying to concentrate on not dying and keeping my team up in Dragonstar. Obviously a battle was taking place and the scroll was going from faction to faction, but I really do not need to know this if I am not playing the campaign.

Having explored the options, I find I can turn off notifications from Leaderboards, but not from PvP. I went to leave the campaign as it was really annoying me, but there is no way to leave the campaign, and it would cost 150,000AP to switch. I have only ever been in there once on this character and only have 1,000AP.

The simple solution would be an option in OPTIONS to just turn off notifications. I am perplexed that there appears no way around this.

Can ZOS or someone answer this? If there isn't an option, can this come in an update soon?

Surely I cannot be the only one that finds this incredibly annoying and unnecessary?

There is ad addons that puts the text in chat box or removes it

As far as I know, there is no in game way to turn them off, sorry. PC has an add on for it but you guys are sol.
Another one of those little QOL oversights.

I believe the addon is called "No, Thank You". It puts notices, such as "DC has just taken some keep or crowned emperor" into the chat box instead of flashed on top of the screen.

WOW there really is no way for us guys on console to switch of notifications from PvP or even just leave a campaign?

This is really annoying. I like to game capture our guild raids and arenas via capture card. This evening every video was ruined by massive text scrolling in the middle of the screen every time someone picked up the scroll or became emperor.

It seems completely unnecessary, and something that could so easily be fixed in the same way that leaderboard notifications can be switched off.

Can I ask if people would like to see this change, if they can request it or comment here?

I'd be glad to see it.
If it makes you feel any better, PC can't leave a campaign either, so we're both in the same boat there.

I remember a couple years ago when those messages were popping up in PvE for me all the time.

So ridiculously distracting. And they wanted immersion in PvE?

Addon fixed that but yah I totally feel your pain OP. Comical that the option to turn that off is not available on console.

If an addon author can write the code to suppress these messages in under an hour, how can ZoS not write in some code to do the same in two years?

Well, dang! I hoped to find a solution not a confirmation that the annoying notices would continue. I just went over to the alliance with one character just to get the speed bonus now I am forced to regret it way too often. Zos, we want a choice!

I put in a ticket about it and got a reply saying it was solved because it was working as intended. I replied that it was in no way solved and working as intended did not answer my request to make it all go away. The worst of it is that the notifications I'm seeing are not even in the campaign I joined just to do the tutorial. I was told they would pass it on to the developers and they volunteered to remove my single character from her campaign. I was polite but very firm in my dissatisfaction.
