Nope, not about the show. But the best way to describe the Proxy Det/Vicious Death ppl.

How many of you encounter these Walkers? A little description, it's that player slowly moving towards a big group struggling through all the caltrops, CC's and holding block all the way towards them with the pretty red circle around them like the train that could.

It's cute to see the determination sometimes but sad to see how common this is lately. We truly need a more efficient way of dealing with zergs or just you know.....remove the *cough* aoe caps...

    The point is AoE caps shouldn't have ever been implemented. I remember watching a video by the developers saying the lag caused by multiple AoE effects going on at once in Cyrodiil was unprecedented, and they asked players to stop using so much Aoe. When players obviously ignored that, they implemented AoE caps. I still don't understand why, but I know all of us would appreciate more transparency. Prove to us that you actually know what you're doing despite the criticisms of Fengrush, and tell us what is going on.

    What I don't understand is that Wrobel (I believe) on ESO live said that they couldn't do a campaign that didn't have AOE Caps because all of the campaigns are tied together but now we have campaigns that don't allow cp how does that work exactly if they are all tied together? If they are able to give Us campaigns without CP then they should be able to do the same in regards to AOE caps

    What the devs dont seem to realize is that AoE caps actually promote zergballs, which creates more lag. Doesnt matter if less aoe's are being used or not, when you actively encourage people to get as big a group as possible and ball up as much as possible while spamming every spell they've got, you're going to make the lag situation even worse.

    Removal of AoE caps would directly combat zergballs. If an aoe spell can hit every single person in that group, it's feasible that a single player could take out an entire zerg using aoe. That greatly discourages people from clustering up so much, and even goes so far as to make healing a more tactical decision because grouping everyone up to heal opens them to an aoe attack.

    But, y'know, game developers these days dont actually play their own games, they just do whatever their publishers tell them to reel in more cash and keep the cow alive.

    True, but I'll go for trade. ZoS can take their half effort attempt on fixing the zergs back (VD) and give us our aoes back!

    Removing AOE caps would last for a week before these forums explode.

    All these "remove AoE cap" punks - how can you justify 1 player potentially killing an entire faction's zerg - cause that is what would happen.
