Yes this XP thing is awesome, especially when it comes to leveling your skills because they take forever. (Have you ever tried leveling Purge, War Horn, Barrier, Siege Shield, Caltrops to Rank IV, morph it, then rank it again to IV? Takes years!)

    After going through the tedious gauntlet (at least for me) that is the Lvl1-50 grind, I'd actually like to be on par with the other players. But then it says "Oh now you have to grind another 16 mega levels".

    I don't like having to deal with scavenging for new materials after leveling.

    I don't like having to deal with outdated gear every couple of levels.

    I don't like feeling I'm completely useless if I'm not Vet16.

    Returning the level cap to 50 might not be a bad thing.

    Thank God. I always hated Veteran Ranks. I also hate the CP system even MORE. 50 levels are more than enough not to mention the skill line leveling.

    Personally I see nothing wrong with the current vet rank setup, and CP is (or rather, will be) basically just another level cap under a different name. Either way, people are going to be grinding their whatever points.

    Since I'm a casual player I don't do PvP, Trials, or in guilds so VR isn't that bad for me. I do mostly solo questing, farming for mats, and random dungeon groups. For Dungeons they always get scaled to VR16 so my damage goes through the roof without having the gear to do so. Being a heavy farmer I have 8/9 of every trait for every piece of gear, have tons of mats, and craft my own stuff so I have full sets made for my alts at VR1, VR5, VR10, and VR16.

    And i wasnt grinding
    Idk why everyone says its hard to morph snd level abilities

    But I like my Champion Points. :( My extra weapon damage and magicka recovery and more efficient damage shielding n'such.

    I hate grinding, so removing 16 levels from that grind is alright with me.
    CP isn't all that hard to gain, especially with the catch up mechanic practically giving them away left and right that even a casual player can earn a modest amount of CP in a brief period of time, it doesn't exactly feel like a grind as opposed to being rewarded for just playing the game.

    And day or two of casual play? Not to be rude, but I went full ballistic and took off of work even, and it still took me longer than that. I don't grind either, just quest. Please turn me on to what ever your doing to level that quickly :p

    I put yes, but I'm more in the middle. They could unfrack the xp given by each mob...the double xp and an xp scroll gives the same xp mobs used to before zos destroyed xp gains over and over.

    I'm going to miss veteran ranks. It's a pity they remove that progress and put a cap on champion points x_x

    Vet ranks are something that they probably felt would make this game different from other MMOs by allowing players to level after hitting level cap.

    In reality, they just gave the game a new level cap. (One that's far too large and takes far too long to reach)

    At least exchanging the Veteran Rank system with the Champion point system allows the devs to create a system of PvE leveling while also being able to have PvP without champion points.
