Aside from maybe trophies or collectibles I don't think so. Those are worthless for the most part. Nothing you would "regret" not picking up

There are some Dropped Set items that only drop at certain levels, and you usually out level the items before you complete the set, unless you shop for the missing items in the guild stores

There are some disguises that drop from enemies and quest containers. I don't know if this is still the case, but I've found once you complete the quest and out level the enemies for loot drops, you can't go back for said costumes. Really only matters if you're into collecting that sort of stuff.

Other than that, somethings drops for certain sets or pieces change, like the new pvp sets replacing old sets from the reward system. If you stumble onto a piece for a set you might like to try, consider hanging on to it because you can't count on it being easy to find later on.

hmm I'm thinking of journals for Shalidors Library ... the ones you get through quests, not sure if bugged or if they are required to find before ending a quest.

If you need to read something for a quest, it will have a big black arrow floating over it, and the quest will not progress until you read it, so don't worry about those.

However there are Lore Books (not the ones for the Mages Guild) that fill up your Lore Library in the Journal, and some of those are found in quest delves and instances. One thing I have noticed since TG came out, all the books that are in Delves and Quest locations are moved out of the locked areas after the quests and placed in various areas. I see caches of glowing books and papers all over the place now. I don't know if every single one is moved like this post quest, but it seems most of them are.

All the Blue Lore books that give Mages Guild Experience are in the game with multiple copies. While some copies may be in places that are not easy to get to, other copies are in places that are easy to find or get to.

Group Dungeons all have a unique single copy of a Blue Lore Book and that is the only place they are found.

With regard to the mage and fighter's guild quests, all the extra readable pages found in the quest instances appear in the second zone capital guild halls.

I saw all those. It was quite amazing how many I had not read.

Not sure when they all got moved like that, I know it was before TG. However, I did not do all that much exploring of the cities of the leveling zones after I was done with them like I do now looking for TG Quest items. So, now I see those books all over the place in the leveling zones.
