Not really. The current best gear in the game will only require 160 CP. So there will need to be another 34 tiers of gear before you need 501 points, so never really. If you have 200+ your not going to need more for about a year, that's if they increase the tier for each DLC, which they have not done yet.

Well we don't know how they will scale future equipment. By setting the bar low for the conversion, they wont need to "award" many cp to catch them up to the gear they already own. And it does give them a lot of room to add in tiers as needed based on how fast the population is gaining champion ranks.

They may decide to bump up the next tier to 300. But, yeah not sure you need to grind out to 501 as a priority. Seems 300 gives enough cushion to do most things very well.

I'm getting one alt up to v16, but after that's done I'll be pushing 2 more characters to 50. If I manage to do all that and still have time left to use the cake, I'll start working on getting those to v16 also.

The grind from 3-50 really isn't that bad.. especially with the buff going on. So the more CPs I can get this week the better.

Thanks guys, I have about 400 cp and not really in a rush to grind it to cap, so I guess I'll level 2 new chars to lvl 50 and any spare time ill go back to my v2 alt
