Group with people run prox det Zerg bomb spam barrier and rapid regen repeat. Get said group go to resource tower sit inside and wait 4 AP to walk in since ppl are to stupid to ignore tower farmers or knock it down. Instead they take back the resource and then siege it just walk in. You need to farm the ppl that ate paint chips growing up

Big ticks are very nice to get but not the way you get emp. Source: I was an emp several times, including last weekend (mainly because I'm usually working buit this WE had lots of time and the campaign restarted Friday evening) and ticks made for maybe 3-5% of the AP I had when I got crowned.

    Without pain:

    1) Have a great group (good leadership, good players, usually a guild - people who play together frequently). You have to be able to consistently win outnumbered.
    2) Take a good spot on the map. I.e. it might be perfect to get a resource between the fronts of the other two factions when you either have a large group or the enemy zergs are of manageable size. However, it is a terrible idea to take it as a group of 5 when you know enemies are running 80 vs 80 around that spot. (in my experiences 6 people right after work are more than enough, but stand little chance around 21:30; 4 can be enough around midnight)
    3) Make between 50 to 100k (sometime more) AP per hour depending on how well it goes just by playing
    4) Play enough to get your group at the top, stay for another hour after your group went to bed to be #1 within it.
    5) If you really want to cheese for many AP, identify situations where you expect a reliable deftick (or capture) and give it to the one player that should be pushed (allows you to eclipse AP/h possible otherwise, we've helped a long-term guild member back when AP gains were still lower than now to sit at close to 200k/h over an extended period of time)

    Alternatively:

play 24/7 from the start of a campaign and do so decently. Even if you just swim inside your faction's zerg, set up siege, spam a bit of rapid, and make ~40k/h - playing for 18hours a day should put you on top of the leaderboards.

    In other words:
Either spend a huge amount of your time in Cyrodiil and become very good at the game and meet people you can form a great group with or spend a ridiculous amount of time after a campaign reset and try to make it that way.

    1. Start strong in the campaign
    2. Have a lot of time on your hands because you want to get about 22 hours or so a day into this game. There are people I've met that were going for emp that didn't sleep at all for more than one day.
    3. Have a guild/friends behind your back willing to help you push for emp. But at the same time don't be in a big group, and if possible, roll alone since you get more ap that way. There's a bit of negotiation as well sometimes such as telling someone you'll go for emp and then stop after getting ap after you get emp so the other guy can get it (at that point emp is purposely lost).
    4. Kill a boss in a cyrodiil delve to get a 20% ap boost that lasts for an hour. You want to have this bonus always.
    5. Go for emp in a contested campaign because a buff server isn't going to have much activity. Or better yet bring a guild into an enemy buff server.

    Listen carefully.

Go to where there are so many people, you start wondering if your game froze.

Sit on the keep wall and spam heals and arrows as often as possible.

If the keep is breached, hide and continue the second step.

If you die, lay there as long as you can.

When someone says "push to [insert next keep] flip them off, and stay where you are. They're trying to get you to leave.

The alternative: Join the biggest *** AP farming guild you know of, equip one AoE, and blob around spamming it.
