Veteran Maelstrom Arena not dropping any weapons from the last chest. At all. Ever. Over the last 20 runs. Not a single weapon.

Maelstrom weapons only accessible through weekly leaderboard, which, again, is only accessible to cheaters or a few excellent players that already have a Maelstrom weapon.

So you only play for ONE arena, and get zero fun out of every other thing to do?

And if you have 0% fun (your words) why even play that one arena? Getting a weapon here or there couldn't change your fun factor in the game by 100%, impossible.

Most of my frustration has been with bugs in the grouping tool and the continued hassle of inventory management. They're fixing the LFG tool issues and with the advent of crafting bags I should be in a good spot.

Of course I've been avoiding Cyrodiil. When the time comes that I want to get back into PvP, however, things look pretty grim.

I would have preferred an 80-100% rather than a full 100%

Frustration on PC/Mac is currently thus....

--> 64 bit client audio issues, which I can resolve by switching over to 32 bit

--> I am currently doing a few daily writs to get Glass Armor Style and Psijic Ambrosia recipe fragments, which drop about once a month. If I could, I would just do them on the one day a month that they showed up.

--> Animation Canceling. Some days I think I can do it, other days I cannot quite get it right. It makes a difference.

--> Inactivity timeout on the character screen is too short. It used to be "forever". This is where I used to "park" when I need to leave the keyboard for a few minutes. Now, I find it better to find a place in the world to stand, but it is frustrating when I forget.

My frustration on PS4 is thus...

--> Guild store and trader UI is not as usable as it could be. Needs search, better organization, easier access to history information for sales, settings remembered between traders; things that I consider to be the "minimum acceptable level" of UI support.

--> They need to do something about Guild Traders so that there are more of them so that more guilds can participate, or address abuse. I think a lot of players and guilds on PS4 are basically opting out of the economy, and that is due to ZOS implementing the bare bones PC/Mac guild system, and then not maintaining it.

--> I can barely do combat with a controller, which is why Animation Canceling does not bother me on PS4.

    Generally...

--> They do need to address the "barrel chest" effect on female armor AND clothing costumes, all platforms. I guess I have to go and make image files of what is wrong or they won't fix it. More precisely, I have to spend a while making image files, uploading them to the internet, linking them in a document on here, and they still won't fix it.

So, yeah, maybe 70-80% is about right.

Really it's 60% fun and 40% frustration because I love the environment and the animations for abilities unique to each class. And most importantly I still find it fun to participate in sieges and defenses in pvp. I enjoyed most of the quests (except for the thieves guild quests).

I don't enjoy the lag, the long loading screens, glitches, and pandering to certain political issues in the game.

Fix the lag and the loading screen issue and I will say the game would be 80% - 90% enjoyable.

The day I'm feeling more frustrated than entertained is the day I'll put ESO out of its misery. Yes there are issues, sometimes serious ones. And they can pile up, so I hope ZOS can up their game in managing them. But right now I'm having fun with my guild and buddies.

I love playing solo. The game to me can be very relaxing. I feel like I don't have to think as much as with other single player games. Heck sometimes I'll lose 30 minutes just farming for Mats and not even notice.
Pulling that together with being able to choose when I want to play this game "as an MMO" or just do my own thing is great.
    Edit: For clarity

It's just not fun anymore. Seeing how other companies can make fixes and patches within 12 hours of an issue makes me really really really really really wonder why ESO can let bugs and gamebreaking *** stay in game until the next DLC. its SO OFTEN people have to wait 3-4 months to get something fixed. THat is f'ing ridiculous. Literally no other company is that bad.

The spark is fading. What was once a raging passion subsides to a casual hobby. I strive to reignite the flame, but my efforts are short lived. The game is improving, the Devs are thinking, but the direction it goes lacks the kindling I need.

Commitments keep me tethered, lest I drift away long ago.

The gameplay does not support the story in the singleplayer aspects of the game. The enemies which pose so much trouble to the inhabitants fall to a single swipe of our blade. Plot moments which could be tense, which could have stakes, which could be engaging fall flat with the enemies. Well designed mechanics are wasted as none have the numbers to back them up. The echatare of Wrothgar show a plethora of fast and disabling attacks, but all hit like wet paper with vitality almost to match. Milestones, encounters that test players' understanding of the game mechanics, have been nerfed - Doshia, Molag Bal, Veteran Zones - for the 'spike' they create. A spike they were, for the difficulty curve was too shallow.

The endgame provides a satisfactory challenge these days but a spike it still is, for the challenge prior is lackluster. Going from smoldering ash to raging inferno in but a flash.

And PvP would be more loved if players were properly prepared by PvE. Enemies that fight like players, hit like players and survive like players approximates PvP in PvE and leaves even the Cyrodiil greenboot with a clue of how to best non-AI enemies.

I've enjoyed the game and DLCs, definately i'm enjoying tge birthday cake now that it's fixed, enjoying the new trial and its challenges.

I actually enjoyed PVP in a nonvet campaign today with a well-organized pug group. That was a huge win since i basically abandoned Cyrodiil couple months after IC release and thought action there was almost non-existent.

Annoyed with random crashes, latest armor design choice, people of all roles in group finder signing up as tanks to get into the group faster and not telling anyone :s

Still making terms with the fact that my magicka sorc has to use swords to be good at dps :( I had to force that on me. Ended up crafting beautiful glass swords, but i wish i didn't have to. I mean, there's about 600 spell damage difference buffed!! :s Talk about "play any way, any style you like" :( If you're a sorc magicka dps, you just can't ignore Molag Kena set, Torug's Pact swords, and Overload as one and only Ult you'll ever use in PVE :|
Skye Cloude - Sorc DPS, Master Crafter. Main, the bestest
Lae Lenne - Templar Healer Trial grade.
Dromede - Stamina Nightblade, she's a newb and doesn't know what she's doing
V'oghatta - Stamplar pretending to be a tank
Ulville Thonvella - aspiring Fire Mage, be careful around her fire sticks!
Dromedaris - lost and not found. Named after a shoe, what else can you expect from her? A proper tank in her wildest dreams
Swims-Naked - too pretty to grind, too silly to quest.
Sun Flair - Dunmer Templar that can't spell for life. To bad she's too broke to afford a name change... Well, at least she's pretty...

I did vote but dunno how it links to a reply. its mostly (80%) fun for me. only things which make me sad:

    1) the 'top' players and guilds being filled with cheaters, exploiters and hackers and then them being all high and mighty about it and actively abusing and ridiculing 'filthy casuals' who don't cheat, exploit or hack in zone or whispers.

    2) the gear grind in vICP and vWGT is getting me a bit down. 100's or runs and still yet to have a complete Spell Power Cure set.

It is pretty balanced most of days. It really depends on which kind of content I am trying to do.

But most of my frustration comes from the 64-bit client. It runs pretty well on my pc and I don't get nearly as many crashes as with the 32-bit client (I know other people have the complete opposite experience, but that's how it is to me). But the THRICE-DAMNED SOUND BUGS. They made the 64-bit client unplayable to me because they are so headache-inducing. No, really, I know I shouldn't have insisted on it for more than a few minutes, but it literally gave me a headache. I would rather crash a little here and there than to have to stand the random, incredibly loud static noises, or the random whistle that gets stuck in a loop and gets louder and louder until I am forced to leave the area so I can preserve my sanity.

No, I won't play without sound. It is important to me and part of the experience. I would rather keep playing the 32-bit client and crashing sometimes until this kind of stuff is sorted out. I hope it happens soon.

I know what you mean, but instead of leaving the area /reloadui works aswell.

Lag, FPS drops, lack of a global auction house and lack of hybrid builds are my biggest frustrations. I keep leaving and returning. When the game is good it is very good, and when it is bad it is horrid.
At the moment I am enjoying myself, but ask again in a week and I might have swung back to 70%-80% frustration and I'll be playing Skyrim or one of the older TES games instead.
