Why is my digital game not starting?

I get an error message saying the game cant be started and if I have a disc. Insert it now.

*HOW to fix*
When the error pops up, don't press anything but let the game run in the background.
Eventually the game will start.
Also announcements are gone. So something is wrong on ZOS' end as all other games are fine but the forums were down here earlier.-PC (PTS)/Xbox One: NewBlacksmurf

RomeoPKA✭✭✭This is happening to me as well. I've tried restarting the Xbox. Doing a hard restart. I REALLY do not want to reinstall the game. Letting it load in the back ground while the error screen is up is not working as well 1

chuckselegy✭✭I am having this issue too. Not only did I waste two scrolls Sunday evening and Monday evening before finding out they weren't stacking properly, but now I'm possibly going to lose a third day.

xerasia✭✭✭Also, it looks like the xbox issues are with TV, Movies, etc, not with Live or Core. All of my other digital games are starting A-OK. Fingers crossed for a fix soon!

Philsings✭✭The "limited connectivity" on Xbox One is with their music and video media and according to Xbox Customer service has nothing to do with ESO. Xbox says the problem is on the ZOS side. Though I find it strange that the standard ESO digital copy is no longer accessible on the Xbox Store or on the Xbox website? So maybe that's why permissions are missing?0 -
chuckselegy✭✭I reset my internet. I whipped my cache. I removed my xb1 account. I did a hard reset. I let it sit on the "Please try again" screen. All of this at the request of the XBOX Live and technical support.
Nothing! Still getting the error.
Only thing I have not done is uninstall
@ZOS_GinaBruno please help this issue get fixed. It is a lot more than a few people and all of our other games are functioning fine.0 -

But I had to send Xbox in so I bought another while waiting now I have two. But me and my wife can play together now0 -
I opened the game, error popped up, quickly hit A then A again to open eso and now it is working1

RexNusquamSoul ShrivenI have the Imperial Edition and am having the same issues. 2 hard restarts and cache clearing have not resolved it. I'm able to play other digital games/content so it seems to be applicable to ESO only.0

GamingWithGunner2007Soul Shriveni dont think zos is being thuthful. ive been able to load up every game i own that is online only and play them. so i'm sorry to say but its your fault ZOS tthat the game is not coming online. i also know your going to ignore this because anyone that speaks the truth you ignore. IT WORKED!!!! It took a couple tries but the game did start and I'm currently in Tamriel. Thank you!1
