Hi. I was in the ESO beta but gave up playing soon after launch when they nerffed the PVE difficulty. Another reson was that stamina builds were far behind magcika builds and everyone ended up wearing a frock and pew pewing. Are things better balanced now? Thinking of diving in again for another bash.

Heck, you could do that even before cp...

Yeah i know, but now it is that on steroids with CP. But you get what i am saying, characters are insanely powerful now with CP.

Aka there is no such thing as difficult NPC content when in a group. Imo only other humans can even come close to providing a challenge to another semi intelligent being. Once you figure out the AI and patterns any game is a faceroll.
Thanks for the replays. Dont think I'll bother. The downloader gives no option to change todrive. Like lots on new puters I have very little space on C: drive but a terabyte on D. If they cant get that right then what hope for the game?

I left when they released IC because it seemed coupled with Consul and F2P they were off down the full PvPer route.
This was hard to do as not since the first weeks of Everquest was I this excited about a game, it looked and felt amazing.
But a few weeks ago I came back for another try and as far as PVE goes im loving it.
Sure there are still bugs and folks always go on about Beta was best, Vanilla Rocked bla bla in nearly every game ive played (and ive played a lot since the dawn of MMOs) often this is just sentimental rubbish.
If you just want to have fun, ignore fotm class/builds, play how you want, there is no MMO in existence that comes close.
My takes on the DLCs (based on me mainly being mainly a soloer)
Imperial City - utter crap for PVE (but then I missed when it was launched and popular).
Orsinium - awesome story line, loved every minute of the quests.
Thieves guild stuff - I was a bit sceptical about this as im not a sneaky type nor am I interested in being on the wrong side of the law, but it was really fun. I do hate the pick pocket Dailey's but the box/instance heists can net some decent cash.
Added to that I ventured into Cyrodiil to get the Skyshards and have found a love for the zone doing some PVE quests I never knew existed. Hiding from PvPers is a lot of fun.
I have also found the community in game (certainly PVE side) to be mature and helpful, something ive not seen since I left EQ2.
Be safe.

If you still have the game, it's probably hopelessly out of date and you can simply do a fresh install, at which point you CAN chose a different drive. Thanks for the replays. Dont think I'll bother.
