    I've seen a few old posts that still have custom avatars. Can't find them now but saw one guy with a photo of a horse and someone else with some kind of cartoon. At the time I thought wow they must be letting us have our own and then I saw how old it was haha.

    I have always wondered why we couldn't already. It would b nice to know people by their avatar. Also devs shouldn't need to approve them only get rid of them if you see a super inappropriate one

    I agree, I doubt there will be so many people uploading inappropriate ones, and I truly cant see why they cant allow people to use whatever picture they want...

    I'd love to do a quick pencil sketch for my own avatar. I do like the ones we have available, and there is a reasonable choice, but there is something much more personal and meaningful about choosing your own.

    We already got pictures, gifs and memes to steer people away from discussions we don't need silly avatars along with them. :smile:

    Suggestion regarding avatars i would love to see: dro-m'athra/sar-m'athra, Void/Ghost Moon related to Lorkhan, emblem of House Redoran, emblem of betrayed House Dagoth, emblem of Ja-Kha'jay (sealing emblem).

    I don't really understand that the reasoning we can't have uploaded pictures as profile pictures is because of the potential for offensive images, when we already have the ability to post images in posts anyway. Nothing's stopping them from just posting the offensive stuff in a thread. :P

    Speaking of the community helping to moderate the avatars to save moderators the trouble, I think that would work. For instance if one avatar gets say 5 reports of it being innapropriate, it reverts to a default one. That might work, but not sure.
