Back in the day when you wanted to be a vampire you had to get bitten and then do a level 40ish quest.
- Is that quest still with level 40 mobs or is it scaled to the players level?
- if i would buy vampirism from crowns. Do i need to do that quest then? Or can i become vampire at level 1 that way?

✭✭I cannot answer for the actual quest, however, yes the crown store bites actually skip the quest for you. I'd recommend just finding a player to bite you though and not spend real world money on it

✭✭Mobs of this quest are still level 38 (need to confirm the exact level), but if you die a few times, they become easier to deal with, as at some point they have 50% less max HP.
Also, Drain Essence, which is granted to you at the beginning of the quest, allows you to ignore higher level mobs' ability to evade attacks, which makes it a LOT easier to deal with them.
I haven't tried the crown store version, but I wouldn't suggest it, considering the number of free bites offered these days.PC EU - Zahraji of the Void, aka "Kitty", the fluffiest salmon genocider in town.

My level 15 character is already infected but i couldnot finish the mobs. I did not know that their health would drop.
With this knowledge i will retry the quests a few more times but if desperate times i know now that i could use the crown version

✭Just a little tip: there are videos on youtube of how you can complete the quest with a level 3 and 4 characters, if you search for those then it might help you solve the quest easier..
