did it on my mag nb he's a vamp so some parts are trickier then they would otherwise be but im fine using 2 torugs and 1 kena rather then run it loads in the hopes of getting the fire staff. I have such bad RNG that after countless coh runs still got no heavy divines helm and i never got a master bow for my stamblade after countless runs of dsa.
If there were a token system I would consider learning the place properly but with RNG what it is would rather concentrate on VMOL and finishing akaviri motif

While I don't think the first four stages are very hard once you know the mechanics, Im stuck at the last boss fight (stage 9). Tried it with two different classes but the result is always the same. After so many hours, potions and repair costs I spent there, Im starting to doubt that I am able to complete this. The fight is just so unforgiving and so frustrating - I never experienced something like that in a video game before.

I really don't think the arena is too hard, there is just so much random stuff that can kill you and that makes it so frustrating.

I tried it once when the Arena was fairly new, made it to stage 6, these obelisks weren't up, tried to do it again several times right after resurrecting, still bugged, then I left. I've never returned, maybe someday I will when I'm in the mood.

Started learning it about a month ago, have done probably 25-30 runs in the hope of getting an inferno staff but nope, no luck. I've gotten 6 bows, 5 resto, 2 lightning and 2 axes. Meanwhile my friends get their inferno staffs 3rd and 4th runs. I tried it once more hoping it may drop but no, just another f*ckin bow. So I'm not going back in there again, no possible way around *** rng is just wrong.

If there was a token system and I could guarantee that after 25-30 runs I'd get a sharpened inferno, I'd be in there until I fell asleep.

And... why must you get all the achievements? Why do you feel entitled to them? Achievements are meaningless if... well, it doesn't take much to achieve them. There needs to be hard-to-get and rare achievements. There needs to be things that is out of the grasp for most people so that there is something for people to aspire to in the long term.

I don't yet have Flawless, but that's fine--I'm in no hurry, and I'll get it one of these days. I haven't fenced 1M goods, but that's fine--I'm at 750K after 10 months, and I'll get there eventually. I don't need to get every achievement, and I most certainly don't need them now, and it's good that there are achievements that I can look forward to in the long term.

You're not going to enjoy anything if you approach the game with the kind of toxic entitlement attitude that you have.

I tried it many times right after release of DLC, more then I can even count, I spend more than 80k gold on repair bills, but stuck on stage 3 with my mage sorc, and on my stam nb I even cant kill boss in stage 1 (yeah, go try it with double wielding stam nb with zero healing).

And even if i'll do first stage with my nb by some miracle, I have no idea how to survive on stage 2 with these stupid blades, i'm dying there 3-4 times on each round even with my sorc with resto staf on second bar...

Must admit I find it amazing that people have finished it with no deaths, my train is stage 3 for example, I was stick in it for 20 our so deaths on the last boss. Next day I tried again and beat every round and the round 3 boss with just one death. Now I'm not delusional, I don't think I got massively more skilled overnight. I just had less random crap hit me, less lag deaths, less word deaths that showed I took 6K damage total from full health with wards up yet still died. Now I can understand someone getting lucky like that for a couple of arenas but all 9 seems impossible.

I did it with purple gear, and purple glyphs, and with low damage. Pretty sure a stamina Nord Nightblade that wears purple gear and uses 2H/Bow with regen food isn't the optimal build. Did I mention that I had around 360 CP at the time?

Countless times i have had reflect scales a shield on or ward and not been near an enemy or attacked then suddenly died...at least since tg...the worst is toxic dome also with the slow slide across the screen which makes you incapable of doing anything for several seconds.

Well, it could, you know, be for fun.
For me, normal version is fun.
I admit that I did not put much effort into trying vet. Part of the reason is not the loot potential, but the fact that 95% of players here, including the very good ones that truly enjoy challenge, reported it to be no fun at all. Before they could beat it, they called it "horrible", after they had mastered it, they called it "boring".

Agree, I'll get there eventually, I do an arena every now and then when there's nothing better to do, I'm now up to the boss of the ice round. Got a bunch of the usual crap, random death when nothing hit me our i had full health and full wards, character having some sort of fit when I'm trying to blast down a troll. I put up with that kind of thing for half a dozen tries before I got fed up. Haven't been back since but I'm sure I will do it in time.

Done it the other day on my wifes account. 300 cp's, was a bit messy, mainly because i havent actually ran it for some months now, but still would have been a half decent score, if it wasn't for the fact i saved it on stage 3. I actually attempted it with 100 cp's but just didnt have the deeps or survivability xD

It still requires a high level of skill, timing, strategy and precision, something that 90% of casual players do not have. If everyone in your guild has beaten it, it means your guild is made completely of above average, good or great players.

Not everyone that plays this game is capable of beating vma. Some just don't have the coordination or skill to do it.

I got to the last boss and took him down to 2% health before a crematorial guard rushed me. I will get it done and will be only the 2nd person in my guild to finish it.

I would say, Watch some videos around your class. Get a living *** ton of soul gems, cash and pots.
Copy a buiild and go in there. If you have resource problems leave adjust and come back.
Keep at it guys. Knowing how each round works is pretty key.
But overall and i know this is lame but having high DPS helps so once you practice and know all the fights and when to drop ults in key locations or heavy waves.

Then adding more dps to your set up will greatly help.

Just keep at it.

What for? It's frustrating and not fun at all. I'm too old and slow for this ***, plus I dont have so much time to waste it again and again on extremely hard content.

But ZOS dont give a *** about casual gamers. For any end game content you need to be no lifer with minmax build, know all about animation canceling, have full gold vr16 gear, unobtainable monster sets or gtfo.
