    I like Shadowfen.
I can't stand that zone. Yesterday I was running around for the sky shards and it seemed like every 20 meters there was a puddle 2 feet wide that was /just/ deep enough to cause a dismount. 50 franking crocs and wamasu lining the edges of the swamp but 'edge' is a subjective definition in a land where the cobble pathway disappears under the standing mosquito-infested water. Made simple movement feel like I was grinding travel distance.

Some of us love it. I certainly like being in Shadowfen and Morrowind more than Hammerfell for the most part. Don't get me wrong there are some beautiful moments, but the desert in general just feels to stark and harsh. I do like the coastal hammerfell regions, or those by the water (like Craglorn or Bangkorai).

This e3 is shaping up to be mostly about new IPs from known corps based on things thus far, and the usually cycle of number something from a given series

So really double we will hear anything new for single player elder scrolls, because they have content plans for fallout 4 still

From what I've read, there is a 5-year plan in place for new content, development, and support for ESO. So by that logic, one could assume we will not be seeing a new Elder Scrolls installment for at least that long. I can't imagine they would try to juggle both ESO and a new Elder Scrolls at the same time, but who knows.

ZOS and Bethesda are two separate companies so Bethesda could have another elder scrolls in the works already. ZOS has nothing to do with the single player franchise

I know, I was kindly reminded of this above by another comment. Somehow I forgot that it is 2 separate companies - not sure what I was thinking! Thanks though :)

It isnt two seperate companies. Bethesda is a division of zenimax just like zenimax online services is. They are all part of the same company. Zenimax media. They are simply different divisons of the same company. Just as chevrolet and buick are both general motors vehicles.

TES is like like a toy big brother (Bethesda) displays and takes care of until mommy (Zenimax) makes big brother let little brother (ZOS) play with the toy too. Little brother breaks toy and gives it back.... Big brother may be able to fix toy, but it will never be what it once was.....

I hope we do. ESO is losing its shine, and rather fast. I'm almost at the point where I'm going to replay Skyrim just to relive those special moments... But, the new Fallout has been holding my attention... Either way, I hope the new TES comes soon. And very soon.

Honestly I do not, I think they have discovered a way to make far more money off a game that actually requires less work too make so they will milk this for the next 6 to 10 years.

IMO I think it'll go this way:

E3 2016 will happen, they'll announce 2/3 of their current projects, and they'll release the mobile card game (ES: Legends) they mentioned at E3 2015 to "hold over" hardcore ES fans. Howard may drop hints about ES:VI but I seriously doubt it will be mentioned.

My money is on E3 2017 and the game being released like Fallout was, the same year as the announcement, probably in the October - November sweet spot for holidays. The marketing campaign for Fallout 4 and the way they announced it was a huge success.

I think if they are working on it, it's probably still in the early stages of development.

ZOS and Bethesda may be different development studios, but they're under the same parent company and have close ties. I doubt Zenimax Media would want one of its studios developing a game that would compete directly with another one of its studios. So as long as ESO is still releasing new content, I wouldn't expect to see TES VI.

If Bethesda is moving in VI at all, I don't think we'll see it before 2019 (or maybe even later, depending on how long ESO plays out).

    Still, you never know.

Maybe we should ask Bethesda's VP of marketing, Pete Hines to clarify this clear distinction with ZOS's VP of marketing, Pete Hines. ;-)

Pete Hines confirmed in interview that 6 was in the works. Also, it won't directly compete. Two vary different games that attract very different people for the most part. They can cash in on both games simultaneosuly. Additionally, yes Bethesda is a business, but they also know that they are so successful because of how well they know there cistomers and what they want. Their business model is predicated on listening to their consumers and delivering exactly what they want. When they stop that, is when they lose business. Howard knows this. It is what makes them better and more successful than the competition.

Eso still has money left to make of course itd be crazy not to make another tes and eso because systems always improve!
The dark brotherhood isnt even hear yet.
Not to mention the werewolf compainions
    Dawngaurd and vampires
Hundreds of pets mounts and skins to come? Id say we wont see anythint tes or eso related till probably 6 to 8 months after a next gen release

This just inspired me to make a poll on how much we spend on crowns a month individually to see what we roughly generate for eso a month right now to show if they are hurting enough to release a new game tes or eso. Which we know isnt soo. Lmao.
