Well, I can see them doing ps4/xbox one merge but not merging with us pc players!
Thats the last thing we need, basically because consoles are limited they can't have addons and I think it would work well for them to merge the consoles.
Not so well to merge all three together, we pc players have benefits console players can't have =(

There are gamepads with macros, you know...

You can do what you like with consoles but leave PC out of it.
Likely result would be taking away our add ons that actually make the game user friendly, plus there would be communication issues.

Also another thing I don't want to see weird names that xbox players and ps4 players have instead of a real character name.
Plus I think it would be a headache for the devs and also one important thing pc will no longer be able to get patchs until the console players do which would not work well for them also thats the main reason why they won't merge consoles with pc.
Consoles don't even have text chat, also the interface is limited they are limited by the controllers. They might be able to hotkey with keyboards if the console version supports it but they would have no mouse support what so ever and no addons because consoles don't like people having mods or addons.
Like other have said, it would be a bad idea, pc will always be at an advantage and console players would not be able to have what makes pc version the best version. They will add text chat but possibly not any time soon for consoles.
Pc gets patchs and dlc first
Pc gets text chat and addons
PC has mouse and keyboard, but also controller support.
Pc has it where you see, chararater name not account name on players
What pc does not have is in game voice chat, people have to do it with outside sources.

Main reason why pc version is better.
Consoles have no Text chat
Consoles have no access to addons and interface is limited
Consoles have integrated voice chat.
Console players go by gamer id instead of in game name you choose for your character.
Console players have it harder because they have to listen to people and loud music and who knows what else people are doing or saying or even worse doing to each other and broad casting it so everyone else can here it lol.
Consoles don't get patchs as often they have to go through the console companies in order to release them.
Consoles could be stuck with game breaking bugs for weeks when pc gets it fixed in one day.

Anyway I would go bat sh*t crazy if the would spend their ressource on doing this while it could of been spent on fixing more important stuff (aka LAG!)...

The game servers couldn't handle this currently. There's plenty of people online coupled with plenty of lag... No need to add more of either

This. It's a good idea in theory -- more people can only be a benefit to an MMO -- but realistically the servers just cannot handle it.

Enough people report lag as it is.

Console players would complain about PC addons, ZOS would disable addons, and then I would leave.

Cross platform would probably only be across consoles since the hardware and control scheme/setup is generally the same.

I don't really see them allowing cross play between PC + Console since the hardware can differ so greatly, not to mention PC users have addons, mods, macros and other custom tools at their disposal.

Also for PVP I know that most people would say that PC users may have a slightly better advantage in terms of having better performance hardware + a full Keyboard and Mouse at their disposal.

No. I don't want to hear console players whine and complain about not having this or that.
