If you do not own Imperial City DLC you should not be able to obtain Warden or Kena helms vendor or not. If I had to pay to have access to those dungeons then I do not want it available for the general population to simply purchase them without forking over the same crowns I did..

I didn't buy the DLC because of one helmet. I bought it so I could experience and enjoy all of the new content. Your response is kind of selfish and honestly how does it even affect you if they buy it? Let people spend tons of AP on monster sets they want/need. These aren't Master Weapons! - Guy who ran vWGT 100+ times.

Why should people who do not invest in the game be allowed the same things I payed cold hard cash for? If they want Kena let them buy the DLC and run it till they get it - Guy who makes people who ran 100+ times look like rookies.

People buy the DLC so they can experience the entire Imperial City+two new dungeons. Sure, the only useful item you might have gained from the DLC for your build could be a Molag Kena Helm, but you didn't buy IC for this.

Did you honestly think to yourself "I'm paying 2,500 crowns to go and grind out Kena" or "I'm paying 2,500 crown for the Imperial City PvP zone and these cool new dungeons" when you paid?

I'm the guy who ran vWGT 100+ times and recieved only two Helms. One Heavy, one Medium, both Infused. Many will never loot what they want, and ZOS has provided a way to finally skip the atrocious RNG through heavy pay. Would be fantastic if they made IC monster sets purchaseable as I'll never have Lord Warden's Helm with my horrible luck. Being selfish is your thing I guess...

    Agree to disagree.

I did not say I bought it only for the helm. Now listen good. I am saying that I do not want my content I PAYED for to be DEVALUED by making it available to those who DO NOT PAY for the DLC. I do not care if they sell them from a vendor as long as Kena, Warden helms and any other sets only become available to those who purchased the content or subbed. Being a hippy commy socialist is your thing I guess . . .

I agree that you are wrong and you are trying to put words in my mouth.

You heard it here first folks, I'm a hippie commy socialist.... woohoo.....

Considering the topic of this thread, along with words that literally make up your entire first post it is safe to assume I'm not putting words in your mouth.
"If you do not own Imperial City DLC you should not be able to obtain Warden or Kena helms vendor or not. If I had to pay to have access to those dungeons then I do not want it available for the general population to simply purchase them without forking over the same crowns I did.." - nordsavage

Your content is not being devalued by two pieces of DLC loot (notably without Best in Slot traits) you care about, placed behind horrible RNG, being made available to everyone who can afford the high prices (tagging along with every other Monster Set because that is the whole point of the vendor). People who did not purchase Imperial City will never gain access to any of the areas, quests, PvP, rewards and loot which it entitles owners to. Zero effect on you besides that it makes tons of people happy and maybe you feel less special now...? Remember you can purchase them too as well.... no devaluing whatsoever.

So once again, agree to disagree.

Agree to disagree is what the loser says to try and save face. You make no argument why you are correct other than lobbing bleeding heart insults at me. I am right because it is the rational view that what you pay for should not be distributed those that do not pay the same admission. That is final.

@nordsavage Agree to Disagree is what rational people say to end pointless arguments when no agreements on the subject will be made.

If you wanna believe you are correct then that's great for you, because I disagree from your self-proclaimed "final" decision.

Glad this has popped up. Will they be selling shoulder at all or only helm? I have 2 shoulders of Kena just wanted to know if they where only doing helm or helm one week and shoulder next.

    Also, infused? Come on!

    Okay, exploration for you then.

We don't know, ZOS hasn't shared their schedule. So far they have alternated helms and shoulders each week, but none have matched. Since we only have 3 weeks of data, it's safe to assume nothing at this point, but I expect it'll be a shoulder again next week.

As long as you do not get for free what I had to pay for then call it what you want. I payed the sub when it was mandatory and I buy all DLC as it comes out. Why should people be rewarded for not supporting the game financially or keeping up with content three years in especially when said content is still very relevant. I had to earn all twelve of my Kena helms and all the other gear with talent and commitment to gameplay after buying the DLC so all I hear is crying about freebees because people are cheap.

Well, when I first got wow, I payed 60 bucks for the game. Now the base game + expansions + a nice level 60 boost comes with a sweet price of anywhere between 30-60 bucks depending on where you stay (not too sure about the exact price). Devaluation tends to happen on everything. I cant stomp my feet and demand the next guy who buys the product at a much later time then me has to pay the same price -_-" Like people are giving away iphone 5s for just signing up for a credit card but I got that phone when it came out for close to 400 bucks. Im not gona go demand that this company dont give away the iphones lol.....

And they are paying. Just not the same currency you used to get the DLC (ie real money). They are paying AP/gold. Just a different form of payment. Much akin to those signing up for the credit cards who get free iphones. They arent paying for the iphones, but they are paying in another form via getting the credit cards.

Also, this whole BOP thing needs to go. Not only is it killing the game economy, it forces people to buy the DLCs to remain competitive. Its bordering P2W and I dont fancy it.

Too late. You can already obtain the Xyvkin motif, and the IC PvP sets in game without paying for the Imperial City DLC.

People don't get for free what you had to pay for. Want access to IC or the new group dungeons? You need to either sub or buy the DLC to do so. When you buy a DLC, you are paying for the new content, not the gear that comes with it. Honestly, it's kind of ridiculous that they placed really good gear behind a paywall in the first place. Should we be mad that people can get the IC vendor sets without buying the DLC too? How about the Jewelry sets? People don't need the DLC to obtain those either.

Don't look at it as people being "rewarded" for not buying the DLC, look at it as people not be punished for choosing not to buy the DLC.
