I was utterly disappointing to say the least, seeing the Master on it I got so excited!!!

Most of the time i see Simple & Intermediate... with the odd Advanced now and then.

The difference between master and simple, is the Malachite shard you get with it.

    The drop odds are better. But, you can still get screwed by RNG.

    I find master locks easier to get open with no jiggle room, oddly enough.

    In the first two weeks of ESO I had found about 5 in 100 chests were Master; then they dropped them so there was probably only one in the entirety of the game at any point.

    The rewards from Master chests are unimaginative to say the least;

    I wish there was some kind of feature request ticketing system for people who aren't just trolls/upset that would atleast backlog a serious feature request.

    It would be simple to nothing to add at least something exciting in these chests, epic jewellery sets say.

    To be honest, I agree with you. Master chests are the easiest to open because they open the fastest = less time to get noticed when doing legerdemain.

    Not even master chests are worth opening because they offer pathetic (utterly so) rewards.
    If I could I'd just pick up the damn chest itself and try sell it on guild store - the chest is DEFINITELY worth more than the stuff it's containing.
    Unless, I mean, chests grow on trees in Tamriel. I've yet to see it myself - but the abundance of citizens of Tamriel who hide crap in expensive chests clearly supports this theory.

    As I recall, there used to be some mechanic where chests that were over your level got increased difficulty. I still remember seeing Impossible difficulty chests on my level 10s when I was going to and from the shrines in Bangkorai and Reaper's March.

    I don't know if that's still a mechanic, though. Or exactly how it works, if it is.

    It was a system to stop low level farming back in the day. Once you past a certain level it no longer has that effect.

    I have unlocked master Chest in IC but they always spawn for me in front of EP and AD bases.So I never have a chance to look inside of one.I would kill like 3 waves of AD or EP and right before I get to open in they finally get me. :'(

    Yeah I was a bit annoyed I got an ic master chest with my rank 16 character in a rank 16 zone and got a rank 15 piece of briar heart.... I was so excited as I'm desperately trying to replace my rank 16 well fitted sleeves if briarheart.

    That might explain why they were seeing master chests more frequently for the first week or two after they started, though.
