Maybe they're afraid that Vet Maelstrom was too easy for Sorcs? Idk, but they nerfed my non "Overload-faceroll" Sorc....

Bug starts at 1:21, but it is recommended to start from the beginning for the....full experience. I would love to say that ZOS needs to put this on their list of "top priority" bug fixes, but that list already seems so compacted. This commonly happens in both PvE and PvP since the Thieves Guild update rolled in. Please fix with the next incremental patch or more angry players will arise!

I don't use bolt escape, but I have a question and maybe an answer. Is the issue that when you bolt escape the camera becomes detached from your character?

I'm pretty sure they mentioned that on ESO live yesterday.. So you may want to watch it. As I mentioned I don't use it so I didn't pay close attention to what they said about it.. Sorry.

[EDIT] Yeah just found it. It's at 16:20 on their VOD. They just said they are aware of it, and are actively working on a fix. "As soon as we have a fix we will push it and you'll see it in the patch notes" So doesn't sound like it'll be on Tuesday's incremental, but hopefully soon.

Ok... so why after the second bolt that brought your camera back, when you cast the third bolt and caused the bug again, why didn't you then bolt a fourth time wondering if that would (like the second bolt) bring the camera back?

I mean I noticed the pattern immediately and would have tried to compensate...

@MissBizz Thank you for finding this! I watched that ESO Live but didn't quite catch this little portion.

All it really tells me is that they don't actually have a fix yet, and considering I play on console, won't need to expect one at least until Dark Brotherhood is shown off sometime a few months from now...

I love Hew's Bane, but many serious bugs and FPS drops have also made their way to console. No fixes in sight either

@Waffennacht It is inconsistent.

You can sometimes fix it by using Bolt Escape again, but can also make it worse.

You can sometimes fix it by standing still, but can also achieve nothing.

Sometimes it is fixed by a CC, but usually also results in nothing.

Their is no way to 100% compensate for this which I have managed to pinpoint yet.

Bummer, im hoping this isn't on xbox, not that I don't feel bad dor you guys but I do.

@Waffennacht Veteran Maelstrom. I can consistently fight up to the stage right before the final boss without dying. With this bug in place I won't even put myself through the torture of attempting it anymore.

Sorry man but it's on all platforms with this new update.

@Waffennacht Yup. It happens more in situations with lower fps, especially when turning the screen 180degrees immediately after streaking and/or switching weapons.

I planned on making a thread with a compilation of a ton of smaller scenarios, but then this happened.
