Problem with Hews Bane Bookshelf *spoilers*

I went to skywatch and stole the arrest writ from the bounty hunter. I didnt get credit for it tho in hews bane bookshelf. How do you get credit for this item? I think its bugged because it never actually shows you the item. Just says you took it then you free the captive and thats it.
