The reason being that after sprinting around an area i am left without enough stamina for my next attack. Magicka users do not have this inconvenience and are able to cast a flurry of attacks after their sprint. I suggest some sort of passive ability for magicka pures that reduces the physical exertion of sprinting therefor using magicka to sprint instead of stamina which would make things a bit more fair. Could call such a passive ability something along the lines of (magic assited movement) or (magicka infused steps) or perhaps even (spellbound runner)
So much talk on these forums about how "magicka" build or "stamina" build can't do something. Instead of asking for changes to everything all the time, try balancing your build, learn to manage your resources or recognize that min/maxing will leave some gaps in certain situations.
Yes this is along the same lines as i was thinking, having it seperate from mount stamina would be more ideal. What about leaving the stamina bar for abilities and using the same, thinner stamina bar that mounts use for sprinting? Could be an idea. I'm not really fussed either way but I can see where folks are coming from.
I'd love if I could run a football cross-field using rainbow farts. But I can't. Stamina drain is a realistic mechanic and why the stamina passives are called things like endurance and conditioning.
The wizard archetype isn't athletic, trading physical power for spell knowledge. The warrior type is athletic, but getting tired/fatigued is the trade-off.

Personally i think using stamina for healers is too far but there are already stamina based skills that already do group heals to a certain extent, IE (heath funnel) in the siphoning skill tree, but this is only a minimal amount of healing so not the same as a full out healer build..
