Textbook "entitlement issues" folks. It doesnt matter how hard you work, RNG isn't obligated to give you jack, L2Luck. Complain about the system being RNG, not the loot table not giving you what you want. And good luck with changing it from being RNG, almost every other MMORPG uses an RNG loot table for gear and items.I don't think you understand his level of frustration...how many mails have you gotten since this patch? I bet it's a mere faction compared to what crown has gotten...it's all the crap traits and crap gear pieces (see Leki's fire staff with defending) that he's frustrated with
Me on TF leaderboard: Nait
Me on AZ leaderboard: Crown, Randym
My wife on AZ Leaderboard: Lightingale, Parody
We've made about 500 reward mails between us, and have the data from other peoples' >1,600 reward mails. The statistics on a sample size of over 2,000 has about 4% of reward mails providing something that people will actually use effectively in PvP.
We have our sets for all of our characters. What frustrates me is that so few people outside of the very high AP earners can get them on their own, and those people who spend the same amount of time farming gold in PvE as we do playing PvP can just buy their sets on the first day - as PvP players are usually starved for gold (since PvP boxes and vendor gear are of zero value any more and we buy most of our pots).
We've been trading the set items that people (I play with / am in guild with) want for 50% of their MM value in gold upgrade mats (which is what I need these days) or simply for future consideration when there's something we want.

It's not complete RNG. We've now compiled results from over 4,000 drops, and we can confirm that there is a weighted distribution for some sets and some traits.
@Shelgon this is anything but entitlement. We had the gear that we wanted to min/max 5 toons with eight total combinations on the third day after the patch. Most of the people that you and I both play with regularly had their gear in the first week. The grand majority of players out there won't have that opportunity for months. I'm not making my points for *me* to get things, I'm making my points for a reasonable method for most people who play the game to be able to compete on a similar gear level as the high AP earners.
You laugh now, but then you realize it's true. This is soon to be you.@HoloYoitsu I am laughing so hard right now my wife ran upstairs to make sure I'm ok..

@HoloYoitsu If you haven't seen from the.. tone.. of my past few posts, I've just about reached the point where I have to stop caring as I am not able to make a difference. I've done my best to communicate, to provide information, to provide suggestions, to give extreme details including complex spread-sheets showing the math behind all of such, and to put a lot of the.. less-than-polite responses that people have to this patch into words that the ZOS employees will be willing to read.
As I'm sure you're aware, the only responses I've gotten from them has been a threat of being banned as I'm not playing nice with the other children. As @Sypher said - I'm just going to have fun doing what I do, but I'm not going to waste too much more of my time trying to help people that don't want my help (or something along those lines). This game will continue on and PvP will fail harder and harder until another game is available. Until then while we may have lost faith and hope in the people behind this one, we can still enjoy what remains until then. I'll continue to help new players with my guides at https://darkelves.com, but like most of the long term PvP players who are still around, I can see that my remaining time in this game is limited. That does make me sad.

Yeah, they kinda do have that opportunity, by killing other players, by getting D and O ticks, by PvPing, like you and I do/did to get the gear we wanted. Why should people who do less get as much as people who do more? You and I both PvP'd to get the gear we wanted, why can't they? If you're bad at the game, join a zerg, get AP. If you're not bad at the game, go solo around, cap a resource and defend it, get AP. There's no reason to give lazy people rewards.

There's this crazy new thing these days that kids are doing called having a job...I'm not sure if you know this but basically these people go to this place where they have a task or multiple tasks they have to complete for the day. These days are usually 8 hours long for about 5 days a week and maybe weekends. The most common hours to work are 9 am to 5 pm, though any 8 hour shift is viable. At this job they cannot play games as it's a distraction and doesn't help get their task done. When they finally get back home from their jobs, then and only then can they log on to their games and play. Some people only are able to play for a few hours each day before needing to go do other things or go to bed. The best part of these jobs is that you get money. Maybe you've heard of this?

Well I only have a few hours for a job since I play ESO 99% of my days, does that mean I should get paid as much as you?
Here are two clips from the PvP event with the Devs for the 1.6 patch. Again, do not judge the gear or skill choices; I was testing different stuff out.

What's wrong with that. Why do those working people expect to get anything from ESO when they dont put time into it? If they dont go to work and sit on the couch at home, do they still get paid? Do I get better at guitar by learning to cook? Do I get fit by eating a bag of chips? No, no you don't. I was only saying that people aren't lazy...a lot of people in victorem (the guild crown and i are in) work a considerable amount to provide for their family...to say that someone is lazy because they can't farm 1m ap in a couple days is an inconsiderate thing to say...what crown is doing (and now many others in victorem since people are getting their sets now) is providing for their guild mates that can't get rngesus rolls or crazy ap so that they might have instant fun instead of having to grind for weeks to get the stuff they want...what's so wrong with that?
They would still be putting time into the game. Not sure what the problem is...
If I work 2 hours, and you work 8, from the same job, should I get paid as much as you? What's wrong with that. Why do those working people expect to get anything from ESO when they dont put time into it? If they dont go to work and sit on the couch at home, do they still get paid? Do I get better at guitar by learning to cook? Do I get fit by eating a bag of chips? No, no you don't. You put time in, you get rewarded.Sallington wrote: »And all MMOs have RNG to an extent, but ESO has RNG^3

I'm not making my points/statements/etc for *me* to get things, I'm making them for a reasonable method for most people who play the game to be able to compete on a similar gear level as the high AP earners.

Sure, what business of mine is it how much you get paid?
