You get 5 or 6 Skill Points doing the TG Main Quest and there are some more Skyshards, so that gives another one (two?)
Not enough to fill out the skill lines completely from the new TG Skill line, but not all those skills are really needed. Even Legerdemain does not need all the skill points spent.
Would of made sense to add enough skillpoints through quests and shards for each skill line in each of the DLC's...
But doh!
Personally once I max out my legerdemain I'm repeccing and only filling out the sneak and lock passives.

In other words, plenty of skill points available. A choice to get them or not just as its a choice on spending them.

This is true. But also let me point out, I have the shards and only a handful of sp's from rank as far as Cyro goes on my main. Yet he's maxed in 4 crafts, 2.5 class trees, 3 weapon trees, racial, fighters, some legeredmain, ww and various others. Getting all the points and shards from pve only is probably enough for anybody in the long run. The rest are just a nice bonus.

And let me point out the basic premis of the game design. Choice
The devs gave us plenty of choices for building our characters. They have never given or intended to give enough skill points to choose everything.
And again, you have skill points still available in cyrodiil, if I understand your reply.

With the upcoming Dark Brotherhood DLC I'm certain there will be a skill line for that one as well. And there is no telling what is in store for the future. So, the problem I see is if your character wants to craft, PVE and PVP, gather ruby mats in Wrothgar, use Legerdemain and Thieves Guild skills plus upcoming Dark Brotherhood skills we are going to need more opportunities to earn a respectable amount of skill points. We can only spread the ones we have now so thin without sacrificing 'how we want to play'. So, what are the community's thoughts on this? ZOS, do you have a plan for this?

Band Camp statements: To state "But this one time I saw X doing X... so that justifies X" Refers to the Band camp statement.

Don't the skill points you earn in cyrodiil get used up on Alliance skills and passives? I know even after getting most of the shards and reaching level 14 in alliance I was barely breaking even on new points and places to put them for cyrodiil skills/passives. So far, new content isn't keeping pace with the skill points needed to run it I don't think.
