    I love this patch (on console). Groups now need to use tact rather than ball zerg aoes and purge to take a defended keep. My skills are alot more responsive (except for charge abilities which now all seem to be as broken as toppling charge) all the updates to the Ui make for better determination of counter maneuvers and increased group support. The non CP battles are EPIC. Of course there are the usual ESO lag and dashboard boot lag issues but that stuff happens on every game with so much stuff happening at the same time. The players are as whiney as ever but they always are. All in all I'm loving this new patch, its made pvp fun again And I'm really happy for that since I never do the pve Content.

    My 1k+ ping on trueflame tonight speaks volumes. Lag will never be fixed until they make it impossible to stack over 9000 zergs deep. I find the lag has been getting worse, because each update zergs stack deeper, negating ANY optimizations they make.

    1 step forward 1 wrecking blow back.

    Worst PvP ever. The current meta is awful. This patch is so bad, I don't even have something to compare it to.
    Bombing groups of people with Vicious, Soul tether and Proxy is fun for the first few hours, afterwards it gets boring quite fast. Keep battles are just an insane zerg with all the forward camps and the massive damage siege weapons do. And performance is on an all time low.

    I really really dislike this patch by now.

    Too many changes all at once. Proxi det buff, greatly increased siege damage, forward camps, vicious death... the list goes on. They made AoE trains far easier to kill (which is good), but turned Cyrodiil into an even bigger numbers game.

    It must be infuriating for them too, but this policy of 1 big patch every few months just won't cut it if they want to make a truly positive improvement in the Cyrodiil experience.

    I'm really not liking pvp atm. to much proxy det spam why they just gave that ability away is just baffling do like the non CP campaign but overall I dislike this patch.

    I really like the patch for group of 4-8, as this size of group can easily burst much bigger groups with deto change+VD, and inviting more people to the group has finally counterparts (more damage taken from deto, VD, cap on purge/barrier...) while before it was beneficial in any situation: more dps more heals less damage taken and more AP. The only thing I don't like much for small-medium group is manoeuver change and others mobility nerfs (just, major expedition reduced to 30%...) because now if you dont kill most of your ennemies on the first impact you can't pull out. Those changes mostly help the Pug megazergs to zergdown the smaller but organized groups.
    Nonetheless for solo I find the patch boring. Clouding swarm destroyed and cloak not reliable at all, basically as Magicka Melee Nightblade I cant really kite people to get old school 1vX, instead the only thing I'm supposed to do when is zerg surfing and suicide-bombing groups afk on flags. Done that in 1.6 and 1.7, its quickly boring.

    I say 5 as if it were 50/50.

    The siege changes are great.
    Forward camps are great.
    CP changes great.

    However the new buffed magicka det being used by ball groups is bad. Makes me feel sad.

    Too many old bugs reintroduced along with too many new bugs.
    PTS..you're missing the point ZOS or only introducing fixes with the live launch which are untested.
    Too much stuff reported on PTS at the early stages that went live regardless of being broken (DK reflect for example).

    Feels like i'm running/riding around with rocks in my socks, big lead encased rocks.

    Almost everything spams shields that I wonder why anyone puts anything into crit for anymore (useless against shields). I don't want to hear theres the Shield Breaker set. Shields are out of control. Needs proper balancing

    Stamina: Theres unexplained stamina damage reduction across the board. Not sure where or what is the cause, whether its mitigations being too high or damage too low, tooltips are lying.

    Anyhow, you figure it out its what we pay you for (for the moment).

    I'm actually enjoying it more (silly and re-awoken bugs excepted), not that it took much to improve.... but there are a few reason why this is.

    I am not playing on the main 30 Day CP campaign.
    I am glad to have FC backs. Riding wasn't so bad when there were thousands upon thousands of enemies but lately it was just a time sink (I can't imagine if you could only play for 6 hours a week, you'd be riding for like 1.5 hours of that.)
    Siege is meaningful again. I enjoy this game for the chaos of war; siegeing/defending objectives along side of fighting on foot.
    I am messing around on non-vet too where simplicity and nativity bring random chaos to keep things fun and interesting instead of repetitive and clinical. (When they lowered the TTK, people and groups became so efficient that both sides ended up bored/frustrated.)

    PVP is not perfect and I am certainly jaded by ZOS's performance to date. This game still teeters on the edge of a great game. I hope that they can get their stuff together and restructure their methods to better suit this game. I want it to last long enough that someday I'll be able to visit all of Tamriel (and hopefully not alone). Any way here's some positive vibes. ~~~~~~~~~~~
    I know it's not easy, I get as frustrated as the next guy but I am taking a moment to send positive vibes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Not take them and be inspired to buck the trends and develop a great soulful game.


    Also just some thoughts about what I currently see around the forums.
    Some newer people don't know better because they've only ever had TU.
    ZOS needs more and better engagement across the board.
    We are a brutal bunch when we are left to speculate instead.
    Maybe invest in some extra code training or find a way to hire or manage things better.
    Also on a marketing note, you need better guerilla marketers. I see way to many sh.. articles on other lamer games that are in competition with you and never any about ESO, alleged winner of the best MMO of 2015.
    I sure that PVE or the main bulk of people are enjoy the vast an wonderful world of Tamriel, but strive to kick ass in all game modes and leave other lame games in the dust.
    Also give the megastore some red bull or something... The technical limit or your game is both impressive and a hindrance. I know there's not much to do except better servers (if they exsist) and better connective tech between you and us.

    On mobile, might edit later. Probably won't though ;)
    Looking for broken things in hopes they may be fixed. I've given up, my game literally works differently from yours.

    You make it sound like you should be able to do that, 1 meteor to solo wipe a 24 man VE group? Sounds like that would be a great game...

    Short answer that I think applies to most players: Friends and community. When I finally stop playing, I'll even miss players and guilds I don't really like.

    It's easy to say "oh, we'll just play game x together", but that often doesn't work in practice for a variety of reasons.

    I say 5 as if it were 50/50.

    The siege changes are great.
    Forward camps are great.
    CP changes great.

    However the new buffed magicka det being used by ball groups is bad. Makes me feel sad.

    Im ok with it.
    but for me before patch only stmaina player I fall in this rating from 7 to 2-3
    when on magica build up from 2 to 6 :d

    Yeah, aoe zerg bomb is easier to attain, but more successful? No. Sorry that you have to re spec away from min max, run mitigation, and organize your forces to actually be a group and support each other, or find out a way to take a keep other than running in with 60 people running purge.

    Dude you have to click like 2 buttons, I have been very vocal on these forums in stating that anything that requires pressing more than 1 button over an over again is setting the skill gap way to high. Prox and cast meteor are you kidding me?!

    Accidentally pressed meteor before proxy det. Can confirm: impossible rotation.

    You missreaded it. He said that he can blow up 6 EP with one meteor and procing vicious death killing 6 EP easily. I said that he should try doing that as a red, by himself against a 24men VE.

    • Fix Volendrung (spawn location - weapon white on the map causing the wielder to keep it forever - usable with emperorship)
    • Remove / Change CPs System, remove current CP/noCP campaigns and introduce one 30days with lock, one with no locks
