Some people are just unable to make the connection between themselves and their avatars on a mental and emotional level. For them this will always be alien, they are not capable to make the mental connection and immerse into an RPG - they are just steering a toon and feel disconnected and due to that they do not get involved emotionally, this is boring for them - they do not have fun in such a game, which requires some form of immersion and that you identify with your character or at least can feel into it's role.2 -

✭I actually can't be bothered to work out how much I've spent. I bought the boxed Imperial Edition, in the UK (which I believe was £99, equivalent to US $150). Then I bought a PS3 controller, which lasted all of a year, then a wired Xbox 360 controller to replace it. I have been subscribed to ESO Plus constantly, and bought something like 3000 extra Crowns.
...Do we include the new computer I had to buy because my old one wouldn't support the game any more?
Whatever I've spent, it works out very reasonably considering that I play for a minimum of 35 hours a week. I'm not sure what other entertainment comes out that cheaply. Well, except for Skyrim, which was a buy once play for 1000 hours deal.Guildmaster of the UESP Guild on the North American PC/Mac Server 2350+ CP & also found on the European PC/Mac Server 1700+ CP

I played ESO for the first month, got to V10 at the time, then went to play better games, got back to it after it went sub free, been PVPing since then. Now, after pvp started sucking, I get on once in a while to do daily stuff, get my enlightened CP, then leave to do other stuff and play better games, I'll be doing that until something good worth paying comes to ESO...PC / NA.
