God damn lol. If I could afford that much on a game I really would not be playing any video game lol

Actually you would be surprised how much this game has saved me. If it wasn't for this game I would be out at the clubs more often, shopping, dining, or the movies..

Ya i did spend a little more than some, but it was just to get friends to play with us. My friends don't normally play games and the ones I did purchase it for don't play any more :(

I am still trying to get one of my other friends to play, but she keeps refusing. I offered to pay for it, but she keeps saying, "No I don't think i would like that game". I always tell her, "that is what i thought when i first heard about it".

If you want a friend, get a dog.

Some people are just unable to make the connection between themselves and their avatars on a mental and emotional level. For them this will always be alien, they are not capable to make the mental connection and immerse into an RPG - they are just steering a toon and feel disconnected and due to that they do not get involved emotionally, this is boring for them - they do not have fun in such a game, which requires some form of immersion and that you identify with your character or at least can feel into it's role.

I actually can't be bothered to work out how much I've spent. I bought the boxed Imperial Edition, in the UK (which I believe was £99, equivalent to US $150). Then I bought a PS3 controller, which lasted all of a year, then a wired Xbox 360 controller to replace it. I have been subscribed to ESO Plus constantly, and bought something like 3000 extra Crowns.

...Do we include the new computer I had to buy because my old one wouldn't support the game any more?

Whatever I've spent, it works out very reasonably considering that I play for a minimum of 35 hours a week. I'm not sure what other entertainment comes out that cheaply. Well, except for Skyrim, which was a buy once play for 1000 hours deal.

Less than I would have spent at the bars on Friday nights for the last 2 years. Haha

I really dont want to know the answer to this. Kind of like typing "/played". Some things are better left a mystery.

I played ESO for the first month, got to V10 at the time, then went to play better games, got back to it after it went sub free, been PVPing since then. Now, after pvp started sucking, I get on once in a while to do daily stuff, get my enlightened CP, then leave to do other stuff and play better games, I'll be doing that until something good worth paying comes to ESO...
