This doesn't account for the $2600 I spent building a topend gaming rig to play this game on my 4k TV.


It's easy to see how much you've spent if you go into your account and go to billing history. It lists everything right there for you.

I've bought every limited time item from the Crown Store except for the Black Bear mount because I missed it, lol.

It has been 718 days since the game launched, which means it has cost me a little over $1/day to play this game. I spend more than that on coffee.

If I factor in the cost of my gaming rig, then I have spent about $4.80/day which is probably about the same I've spent on coffee lol. Still a good investment, and my gaming rig will last me many years.

I bought the CE when it came out with the statue. With shipping that was like $150. Then I paid for a year at 14.99 a month. I know I could have saved by paying for 6 months but some reason I never did. So thats 180.00 I paid for a sub. I used my free crowns at the switch to buy Orsinium so that was no cost. Then I resubbed just this month so thats $15.

So $345 total.

Probably about $600, counting game + sub + crowns.

Not counting the $1600 that I recently spent to upgrade my computer to one that is DirectX 12 compliant. Of course, I've been limping along with a six-year-old computer, and it was time to upgrade anyway, so I don't count its cost as part of the cost of the game.

We used to be able to scoff like that but now both Microsoft and Sony plan on releasing upgraded consoles and then intend of having incremental upgrade requirements down the line similar to PC. Once they make this blunder a reality then I will be done with consoles as the only draw to owning one is buying once per generation.

I know this is off topic but just ranting a bit while spreading the word

Somewhere around $400 (AUD) ... Initial game purchase (imperial edition), 6 month ESO plus sub blocks since then & still going! A couple of crown packs for respecs & mounts I never use :P

Considering the free time I spend on ESO it's still good value for me.

I am starting to feel like I have gotten a bargain! 25$ for the game on Black Friday, which included the adventure pack. I have purchased 3 packs of 5500 on sale at 23.99 a pop, but I still have 9,000 crowns left after buying all 3 dlc's. So for less than $100, I could be looking at game + dlc up to dark brotherhood. I am a non-trad college student with 3 kids, so I always look for the best bargain. #1 priority is keeping food on the table!

About 500 $ and I stopped paying I just don't care anymore I play but lost my expectations with thieves guild wrothgar was good despite minimal dailies but recently I see so much ruined I won't pay anymore til I see actual fun implementation
