My Character is Deleted!

Hey there all. I haven't been playing ESO for a while because of my out of game life. When I redownloaded the game today and logged in, I saw my old character was deleted. Also, I had the Imperial Edition, but the game didn't allow me to select "any race with any faction" thing. Were these done with awareness or am I the only one who is facing these problems?
