I'm not saying people don't use macros, but it's not nearly as many as you may think.

People have different machines and internet connections. ..nobody can shoot off 5 skills in 1 second. What you are experiencing is lag, and someone hitting you from a distance, so at the end you see your healthbar go from 100% to death recap screen. This can be done with and without the use of macros.

I have a v16 sorcerer, and when I play with her, I get higher dps if I don't use macros and weave manually, because of lag, latency and fps issues. The majority of the playerbase are like me and don't benefit much from using macros.
