Grouping Tool: Working as intented

I've tried it with a lv20 character in Random Normal Dungeon (as dd and tank), it only took him 20 minutes to place me in a group with only a DD
I've tried it with my vt16 Healer for Random Veteran Dungeon more than once, you have to wait at least 15 minutes to be placed with ONLY a Tank
At the same time i had people with me also using the grouping tool for other role, of course we didn't end up together or in a group at all (we gave up after 20 minutes of waiting)

Definitely still issues, I would also like the ability to toggle scaling so I can play with lower players through the same dungeon.

and yes @Kathrein
they did a horrible job on the group finding tool.
you get some nice XP if you use it but the time it takes to find a group you are better off grinding that xp.

If zos wants to make a feature like this. make sure it works. looks like everything in this game is left unfinished.

Well I'm pretty sure you can do other things while the group finder tools finds you a group such as grind xp. It's not like you are going to sit there and do nothing while you wait. Now don't get me wrong it does take a while for it to find a group which is frustrating but you can still play the game while you wait

Queued up with a buddy (alas 2 DPS).. waited 1 hour and then it decided to port us to the dungeon when we were battling a world boss (no popup / notification at all)

Well I'm pretty sure you can do other things while the group finder tools finds you a group such as grind xp. It's not like you are going to sit there and do nothing while you wait. Of course you can do something else, doesn't mean it's acceptable to wait that long. The grouping tool it's just broken(and it was in pts...) , I'm not saying it should be priority to fix, it shouldn't be, but at least they should acknowledge it

This is not the fault of the grouping tool though, if players don't search for those dungeons you search for. If you que for a pledge during prime time, healer and tanks get in one fast - damage dealers have to wait a little, because there are so many.

I tested it with 'random normal dungeon' and 'random veteran dungeon' as healer and tank.

I tried to use it toady.

Finally after 15-20 mins i am put in a group.

Guess what. Dungeon is vet Imperial City prison. The hardest and longest dungeon there is. And there is a vet 1 and a vet 12 with 2 vet 16's. Crown is vet 12. next minute 2 of them go offline and i leave the group.

Tried that yesterday with my new off-Tank gear/build. While I immediately got in into groups it was either with lowlevel guys in Fungal Grotto or Spindlecluch or with Veterans in ICP. The first one is ok, with a little bit of work on my side, but I don't trust my new tanking skills in ICP yet ;-)

I completed activity. But no reward. Working as intended.
