Well when there was the crown store discount recently I bought 17000 crowns and got my camel to 60 speed and 20 stamina. Worth it.

Wait, SEVENTEEN THOUSAND crowns? You realise that is €108.15 at the current price per 5500 crowns.

This 50% off training thing really grinds my gears, especially when horse stats aren't account-wide. Most of the time, I don't even bother visiting a city (except to turn in a quest there).
Of course, that's not ZoS' fault I'm too lazy to pay up every day. Sometimes I feel I'm just wasting my money when it could go on more important things... like repair bills. :expressionless:

I don't really see the importance in training your mount. I didn't do a single bit of it until my veteran ranks and even then I just use my Lioness to get from point A to point B when I'm not fast traveling.

This system is so crap. I HATE IT. We all do.

Be happy that you do not have to actually ride the horse for 20 hours to upgrade it - Archeage does it that way, mount levels are just achieved by actually using this individual mount - for each mount separated - ESO's method is gold compared to it.

Which is why there are three people active in Archeage these days. Nobody has time for BS systems.

What really kills Archeage is it's labor points system and bots, hacks and pay2win - not their mount upgrade system. I liked those gliders though, it was a good way to get around and it gave tactical options in combat as well.

Well yeah I forgot about the 50% off mount training thing encouraged me to make this topic I think. It just plain and simple make you a little more frustrated though.

I see the point to the train the horse everyday from a buisness stand point because I fall for it everyday. I log in just to train the horse then figure well while I'm logged in I should check my researches, check the dailys and then an hour later I say they got me again. It's like going into the store for just milk and coming out with 3 bags of groceries.

    Well,there is this:
    1. more inventory space per training
    2. more stamina so that you wont get knocked off your horse so easily
    3. and more speed,so that you can actually get there quicker
They really do help you along ingame.
Oh,and the speed part can actually make that Lioness quicker.

I started the game with one main and no alts. I now have one main and three alts that i may play someday. Till then all alts are parked at the stable for obvious reasons.

I was so happy when I finally had a fully upgraded mount after 180+ days .... yet I find myself running/sprinting around for 90% of the time (if not more) because whenever I see something that fits into my pockets, I just got to get it. To unmount/remount all the time just seems to interupt my "gameflow" B)

Ahhh, but at least you'll be glad of that extra 60 carry capacity! :-)

It's a *** system that pretty much forces your hand to the crown store if you can't stomach logging on 150 days in a row for all your toons, just to 'feed' a freaking horse.

    It's an mmo lol
    Nothing is instant
people are gonna be complaining about research times next lol
May the Schwartz be with you.

I didn't think about research times but atleast there is a skill to make it go by quicker. Being able to research Multiple at once.

UO had a better system, you actually took the mount out and fought with it to gain skills and dex/stamina was trainable too. This system is dumb.
