Look at the General Discussion topics and you will see tons that "should" be in other sections but they are never moved from the General Discussion to the appropiate sections. But this thread did because it didnt put a good light on the game and this is coming from somebody who tonight had the most fun in the game in a few weeks. It was a way to "cover it up" without completely deleting the post.

@FloppyFrank i liked that you linked the initial thread, that will help people in this forum find it.

you could also hotlink the video in your initial post "for reference" that way new players that stumble into this thread can easily start the video in one click.

He talked pretty extencively about ESO as a game, not only as a PVP-game, so why it was moved to alliance war forum was abit suspcicious. It belonged just as much in the general section as in the pvp section.

Being negative towards someone who is being negative towards the game. Negaception in the mist/hypocrisy. I'm not defending just Fengrush, im defending those that are trying not to be toxic. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all... Treat others how you want to be treated. That sort of thing.

The funny part is that all of those sweet, innocent PvE players are the ones I see tossing around the most insults and the most toxicity. I'm honestly surprised at how that has turned my perceptions around. Had you asked me several months ago who is generally saltier and more toxic I would have said PvPers are. The ESO forums have shown me that is not really the case, and the casual "carebear" player that avoids pvp in game comes to the forum to pvp. Not to say that salt isn't happening among pvp players (it most certainly does) but you literally have PvErs stooping to calling people sociopaths and murderers in these threads. The vast majority of PvP players seem to be asking for Cyrodiil to work as intended and have reasonable balance and you'd think they were asking for the moon or something.

I really wish this whole mentality of pvp vs pve would die out already, but I guess at this point we're left fighting over scraps. It's sad in a way that it has come to this. I keep hoping ZOS puts it all together so that we don't have to fight over nonsense, but every DLC I'm disappointed. I wonder if they even know how to stop, or at least greatly reduce, the issues in Cyrodiil.

ZoS 1- Hey guys, you seen that tread wher Feng bashes (telling how it really is) our game? So may ppl have already seen it and commented on it, but if we delete it they will rage just even more.
ZoS 2- No problem m8, just trow it to Alliance War section. Only scrubs that we dont care about go there anyway. Problem solved.

not really surprised, he was calling out zos pretty hard. It is kind of passive aggressive to move it to alliance though. players really need to have better communication with devs. there is allot of stubbornness and myopia. it took 70+ pages on the templar feedback pts thread to even get an acknowledgement of the issues.

I watched that video, and it broke my heart. That guy loves ESO, and ZOS don't even bother with him. Streamers provide longevity for games now a days, they should acknowledge the work he does and the work he tries to do for the community. Instead of boycotting him for having his own opinions.

That video DRASTICALLY changed my opinion of ZOS, and only for I have the crowns already I wouldn't be purchasing The Thieves Guild. I will be cancelling my ESO plus however.

I never usually care for streamers, but Fengrush hit home with me.

Honestly i dont know why they didnt delete. He was in there asking for people to be fired. That seems like something that would be against the forum rules.

But if they arent going to delete, I have no idea why they would move it to Alliance War.

In regards to why the thread was moved, we wanted to allow players the opportunity to express their frustrations. Since the conversation and discussion has been very heated and passionate while mostly geared towards PVP, we moved to the Alliance War board so that discussion could continue without escalating in General Discussion.

This thread is now discussing moderator actions, and as a meta-thread it will be closed.
