Heists Rewards

I really like running the heists, but the rewards are a bit crappy. The two sets are not all that appealing and the container boxes are basically just gold.

Any chance of buffing these? Maybe throw in a chance at a motif or something more enticing? Ill be done with Professional Pilferer in a week and not sure Im gonna run it again after that. If not, Ill just move on to something else, I guess.

The good point is that they in fact are chalenging to do in the time limit.
Its a very good idea even for some longer chalanges with bigger rewards (even puzzles)

Or even make 2 random player compete winner takes all

Agreed. Put on a post on Heist suggestions during PTS. Some of the difficulty did get improved, but the rewards are still low. I'd also say that a lot of the dailies in Thieves guild could use improvements.

According to the Achivement, there are different Tiers of Rewards. I guess the time challenges are part of it. Anyway, there is an achievement for getting the top tier of rewards for 5 of the Heists.

So, perhaps you did not get the top tier of reward?

I just got my first heist yesterday, but have not done it yet.

Yeah, max reward is a set box and purple bag of sellable loot. I got the 5 max achievement this morning

Heists are fun to do and a reasonable challenge to get the highest-tier reward, but I agree that the rewards seem a tad lackluster. Opening up a purple bag, I kind of feel like I should be getting something more than 10 white items that equal 400 extra gold total. On the other hand, that's a decent amount of gold (considering the additional 300 or so just for completing the quest) for something that might only be taking you 6 minutes of gameplay. Then again, it's also one per day.

My own recommendation would be for the max-tier reward to drop 4 green laundered items (high chance) or 2 blue laundered items (medium chance) or 1 purple laundered item (low chance). Thoughts?

I have pulled a Large Stolen Shipment that had 10 Greens in it, for 2000 gold total. Perhaps this RNG is already in place with regards to White, Green, Blue and Purple.

Wow, 10 Purples would be 15,000. That would be a nice haul.....

Quick reaction to this, you can have someone else share you their heist quest (like the daily boss quest in Wrothgar). Don't know the limit or how many different heists there are, but you can do more than one a day if you find sharing partners.

Are the heist rewards always BoE?

If so I don't see the reason to do them.

Ha ha, that would be interesting, but I'm thinking they are separate rewards. Also I would never be that greedy. ;-) The Laundered Goods from the Heists don't currently seem to have any variation except to change the specific white pieces.

I did get a purple Leniency Pardon in today's Laundered Goods along with 5 white items as usual so there is at least some variation in the rewards however small the chance.

Only problem with the forged Pardons and all that is it requires you to get caught for them to be useful. ;-)
