Nerf to stamina regen while moving in stealth

So, built my NB with high stam regen, vamp, and spend a lot of time moving while stealthed.

Seems as though stam regen is capped while in stealth now so no matter how high your stam regen is, you'll always loose about 1% of your stam every tick while moving in stealth. In the past I would regen about 4% of my stam every tick.

So, is this intended? If yes, what is the point of SHADE (reduce cost of moving while in stealth)....? And, why isn't this in the patch notes? (if it is, than I just missed it...either way, HUGE nerf to stam NBs)

If I remember correctly, this regen in stealth and sprinting was a bug that was added with the Imperial City DLC and now it has been fixed.

This is not a nerf and is in fact a bug fix.

It is possible to reduce the cost of sneak to 0 so you don't lose stamina while sneaking (legerdemain passives + medium armour passive + 3x Night Shade).

Reduced sneak cost CP reduces the amount of stamina sneak costs per tick, allowing you to sneak even longer.

    It was intended.

And Shade reduces cost of moving in stealth, that has nothing to do with whether or not you regen stamina while in stealth.

The bug that was fixed was stamina regen while sprinting and or stealth it was a bug that took ZOS about 4 or 5 months to fix.

so some bugs whats are not annyoing or also some helping players they working to fix it..ok, bug is bug lol.

but for example templar toppling charge is bugged around maybe 1 year...no bonuses to players with this bug, only minuses and rage because this only broking templar fight....still not fixed lol

I see zenimax prefer to fix bugs waht are not much influential to figh, to profit etc., but bugs what just annyoing in fight and ruining fight they leaving it, now templar with this toppling charge isnt finslly stuck and can do other defense abilites now...but it still useless eat magia on this not working skill, very good job zeni, maybe try fix bugs what are annyoing and broking game for first and then for second others small bugs what doesnt have that much impact on the game

The bug was drinks applying their regen when they shouldn't have.

Technically, if you stack every sneak related reduction available you should never be able to hit 0 cost.

What about the new Thieves Guild armor that reduces the cost of stealth a further 25%? Can you get it to zero then?

its only for this sneaking...for fight it wont be to good.
the best wayt it will be with addon when with only 1 button you switching your gear to sneaking and before fight you switching this gear to combat gear by pressing other buttong but you cant be in combat then

Worst bug fix ive ever seen. So what people in sneak can stay in sneak. This never harmed my gameplay when player's could do this against me. However it does harm my own playstyle as a vampire. I live in sneak. I walk around with double take all day. It's a sad day for me :/

Why does Zos have such a grudge against stamina build's these day's... seem's like we can't regen while doing anything anymore. I can't even roll without it costing more and more each time.

Might as well re-roll magicka now -_-

Magicka stealth-based character have an even worse time, you know. With my stamblade I can stealth for two minute and stop ten second to regen all my stamina, with my mag character I have to stop a lot and take a long time for regen, especially in combat.

It's a good fix for pvp especially, it slow down zerg a lot.

yep..rerolled from stam nb with stamina race on magica build...much better on pve in all dungs, trials etc, better dps, survivability, mobility..pvp similiary ehh....and now I lost some desire to play becuse I played always on stamina since when it start be playabe and very I like play on stmaina build...but its sick, when on magica build now can get 2x more and more effectiveness than on stamina with everything :'(

Have not formally tested the new Thieves Guild set in this way,
but Nightshade set gives the same bonus at 3 pieces,
and when wearing Nightshade on my stealing runs,
have 0 sneak cost, and if my Stamina is less than 100%,
my stamina regenerates while sneaking and moving,
    just very very slowly.

Just wish there was an announcement to say this is intended. Everyone is speculating that this is a "bug fix". I've never read somewhere that your stamina regen rate drops by x% or drops to zero when moving in stealth.

Basically, one's stamina regen just became a less important stat, or, using stealth has been nerfed hard core.

This really sucks. 100% changed the game for me, no longer feel like a night blade, but just a fighter with different skills....especially with the mega dark cloak nerf. Now I just feel like a DK without leap

I just think it's crazy that they'll post every little tiny change in art, or a random quest....but will completely ignore a game-changing change (whether it be a bug fix or not).

My guess is, this is for magicka builds with low stam regen, so the stam costs isn't so extreme when they do move in stealth. In short, it's worthless for stam NBs....which, can't be intended.

They tried to fix this already a few months ago. Back then we got the 30k stam regen while sneaking and holding block. That's why they rolled back the fix. Now they did fix the bug properly.

They have stated many times on the forum that drinks providing stam regen even while sneaking was a bug and sneaking should always reduce your stamina to 0.

This was not s nerf as it was a bug that stamina was being evened whole moving whole crouched. We used to have zero regen while in this state and we merely returned to how it should be.

Just link one of these, I've been searching and can't find. Before I switch my NB to a magicka build, I want to confirm this merf/bug fix was intended.

Magika builds are not helped either way as they do not have much stam to begin with so they can never stealth far before stopping to regen.

The change, as my previous post and many others have said, was to return this back to how it was and should be, that it was a bug to reduce stam regen while moving crouched.
