Believe in ESO

Dear Community.

ESO has brought me a lot of gaming joy and I have enjoyed interacting and meeting many players in different guilds and different scenarios (NO this is not a quitting thread)

ESO is at a very interesting and great stage of development there are a lot of amazing zones with great environments, interesting characters and items and some cool refinements to the game with the 64 bit client and new grouping tool.

The game is also a joy in terms of the amount of armor and clothing options especially all the different styles that can be picked up and crafted.

I believe that ESO can become an even more rich and vibrant world by giving players more tools to get involved with and interact with the world and become a persistent world where players can have meaningful interactions with other players and the world.

1) Please offer more RPG tools for role players, please let us interact with the furniture, follow this link as a guideline: https://youtube.com/watch?v=FIzZQ3u3qS4

2) Make more random in game events that occur in the older zones to attract people's interest, ESO has a somewhat linear progression and it would be cool to face some challenges in the old zones. Perhaps, EP raider invade Crosswych and have to be repelled or Wormcult members take over Camlorn

3) Flesh out the Justice system more (please I am not trying to ignite a PvP PvE debate, I think features can be added to the Justice system that would satisfy both crowds) i.e. create a town in every zone where Justice system PvP can occur, but only in that area. Add skill lines for people who are "enforcers' and note I am thinking of this from a PvE perspective something like "Guard" skill line where people can get reduced prices on goods being sold by vendors and access to a Guard barracks with interesting features

4) Reduce the grind . . . allow some of the motifs that drop to be in single books and not 24+ pages

Well, these are some of the things I have been thinking about especially with the development of games like "Camelot Unchained" and "Landmark." Admittedly those games are a bit of a different genre, but ESO was created out of the desire for people to interact with each other in the Elder Scrolls world which is a deep and satisfying backdrop for fantasy adventures. I remember when this game was first being developed that Matt Firor, who has been much maligned, described it as a Role Playing game, well please reexamine that goal and put in creative features that will spur the imaginations of the players and not just inspire the same rehashed, I must grind and get good gear to feel worthwhile in this MMO setting.

Thank you,

Yes, they need to do these things and re-package the game into a Game of the Year edition to attract new players (I'm mostly referring to consoles).

That is a kid's tactics - pester parents as long as it takes to get what they want - they have not learnt to accept things yet and handle it in a mature way.

Your argument is short-sighted and you ignored my suggestion that they develop a Guard Skill line for PvE. I know many people who have quit playing the game because the PvP portion of the justice system was ignored. Most of this is beside the point though. The major issue is the lack of innovation and tools for players to interact with each other. PvP has been handled very poorly in this game despite it being a major feature that was advertised for the game.

Are you really satisfied with the Justice system as it is?

They have done an amazing job with the grouping tool and PvE, now they need to address the combat balancing on a weekly basis instead of each DLC release and this game would be perfect.

Say what you will by Eric Wrobel is sadly inept in handling this task.

I do not want players with the instinct of a murderer to become law enforcers - simply because they are the least qualified for this job.

I really like some of your ideas, and I hope we get them implemented. Specially events in not-so crowded areas. Cadwells Silver is somewhat populated, but Cadwells Gold areas feels so abandoned. Most crowded locations are gold areas banks, where v16's park their mules, to get less lag when they relog to them x_x so if a player needs help with a world boss or dolmen in Gold, they have to resort to friends and guildies, instead of asking for help in zonechat like they do in Silver or own faction locations :/

The interactable furniture could really improve the roleplayer communities events. It's really sad at roleplay events, where players have to do the /sitchair emote to sit at a table, only to be interrupted by npcs.

The only thing I believe in with ESO that every 3-4 or 6 months everything will flip.

The devs do not understand the concept of small incremental changes to things. It's either OP or useless.

The only "balance" exists if you average things over time... if you sample a day there is no balance.

    3) Flesh out the Justice system more (please I am not trying to ignite a PvP PvE debate, I think features can be added to the Justice system that would satisfy both crowds) i.e. create a town in every zone where Justice system PvP can occur, but only in that area. Add skill lines for people who are "enforcers' and note I am thinking of this from a PvE perspective something like "Guard" skill line where people can get reduced prices on goods being sold by vendors and access to a Guard barracks with interesting features

you know what? my speculations on this is when Dark Brotherhood DLC comes out! since its a pvp dlc based from southern cyrodiil...

wherein you can kill people for bounties or get their loots, only from those area too though, like Telvar Stones perspective but much a lower reduction of value/gold.

I think it should be like this! it would be awesome!

But it will not be like this most likely - the gold coast is not meant to be part in the pvp activity.

You know, I would kind of be happy with them alternating pvp and PvE content that would be a good way to do it . . . Provided they can get things bakanced, which seems to be a big IF.

I would be fine with this but I don't think the DB dlc would be good for being a PvP dlc.

A lot of fans are here because of the single player TES games and exclusively play PvE. Because of that, it would cause some massive rage if ZOS added such a popular guild as PvP dlc, I think. Lots of Oblivion fans already wish they could have a rebuilt, PvE IC as a hub.

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

I kind of agree that IC should have been implemented differently most notably the Arena District. The Arena itself should have had multiple entrances one for PvP and one for PvE challenges with differect instances for both. There should have been NPCS that could sanction duels and allow players to bet gold on the outcomes, there should have been better achievements, instead we got some pretty generic stuff.
