Increase v16 Orsinium gear drop rate please?

Since now Orsinium become the "old" DLC, can we have v16 set more often from WB reward and treasure chest please? And with the "useful" traits too (divine, infused). I'm sick of getting v15 pieces from treasure chest or a non-set v15 gear from WB reward box.

I've gotten several briarheart, pariah and trinimac pieces from chests in Wrothgar that were v16. You're just not opening enough chests. I got my ledgermain to rank 11 farming the sets.

Or you're simply lucky. I know ppl who made every daily with 7 different chars and still don't have his brianheart in VR 16

You shouldn't get v15 gear as a v16, period. Hope they change it soon

Yeah, I'm lucky enough to get "serveral" v16 pieces too, sadly it's or not the right set. If I'm very lucky and get the right set, then it's not the right piece I need. If I get very very lucky and get the v16 piece of the right set, right piece, then it's not the right traits. So I need to be VERY VERY VERY lucky to get v16 version of the right set, of the right piece, of the right trait. And then multiplier that VERY VERY VERY lucky chance to 5 pieces.

I am honestly shocked that the World Boss and Daily Delve containers are mostly VR15 drops (still).

Considering all the gear is BoP it's kind of a joke that as a VR16 character after any sets from those you may get 1 a day if you're lucky. Hopefully this can be amended in a future update so VR16 characters doing dailies are rewarded with gear of their level.

The ZoS itemization team did a decent 180 with the gear in Thieves Guild but they forgot to go fix their mistake in Orsinium. Also waiting for them to fix their heavy handed xp nerf in Craglorn that they reversed their stance on with the DLC packs. It's great to admit a bad idea and fix the next DLC but PLEASE fix previous mistakes as well when the chance comes up.

Having spent a fair bit of time farming chests in Wrothgar the advice I can give is get the Treasure Hunter passive which made a huge difference to me. Also either follow a chest farming circuit(YouTube) or better still create your own which is what I eventually did.

Locksmith 4/4 helped me a lot too as I can farm chests much faster. 85% chance to break simple chest locks. Simple chests also have a small chance to give blue vr16 too with Treasure Hunter.

The daily rewards chests should NOT drop VR15 gear at all.

If you're going to make it blue, that is acceptable; however VR15 in a VR16 battle-leveled zone is absurd.

I have opened 2000+ chests in Wrothgar in the last two months and have done more than 500 dailies on two separate characters.

I'm still looking for that elusive VR16 chest piece with infused trait. The best I've found so far is a well-fitted one. Since well-fitted is so bad, I'm using a purple VR15 piece with infused trait for now.

So no, opening enough chests does not guarantee you will find all the pieces you're looking for.

Crafting jewelry ought to be an acquirable skill line. The balance is automatic. You'd have 1 fewer skill points to allocate elsewhere for each skill point you put into being a maker of fine necklaces and rings.

I agree, I rarely do the boss runs anymore. I'd love to have the pariah set for my DK and briar heart for my NB. I've got 3 v16 pieces and 2 are the exact same one. Tired of getting stuff I can't use (V15). I don't want to grind these every day for 10 years to get a full set which it seems you probably won't get anyway. Might as well just stick to crafted gear.

They will eventually allow us to jewelrycraft. They mentioned it, but don't expect it for a while. They spoke about it in previous ESO Live's.

Dailies give up better chance of set items. Regular chests need to be advanced to give a decent V16 set item rest are crap. Treasure map chests....well these are the king of set item drops. I spent the better part of about 100k and Christ knows how long scouring guild stores but it paid off. Treasure maps in wrothgar (and Cyro but who can seriously be arsed to run for hours to get to them) are epic for dropping these sets.

I am fine with the drop rate HOWEVER the amount of v15 gear I get is stupid.

This week I did about 65 Treasure Maps and maybe 20 world boss turn ins. All I am trying to get is an infused or divines trinimac v16 chest or boots. I would take either.

No luck. The good traits are all v15 and I am getting nothing but sturdy or training in the v16 stuff.

I hate the loot system in this game. RNG is a ***. Why can't bosses just drop tokens so you can purchase set XX in the trait/piece that the token represents.

That's nothing. You need to do at least 10x that. Being serious. Hate rng after doing every daily since launch on 2 toons, buying up over 50 treasure maps and looting everything possible for 2 months solid. The only WB I know to have dropped for me is the Titan when I solod it. Dropped a healthy V16 briarheart collar (what I wanted)

I've opened about 100 treasure chests and daily reward boxes, the 2 sources that give the best chance for Orsinium sets, and countless random chests in Wrothgar. I save up all the pieces with infused or divine trait. Yet, still don't have 5/5 v16 pieces of Briarheart and Trinimac. I got many duplicated pieces, v16, right set, right trait, but wrong pieces.

Also, don't even let me talk about Undaunted chests. Wish I could trade all the Merc motif for the right shoulder I want.
