So many are furious with the combat team development, what's the path forward?

    My recommendations for ZOS ..

    Class Mission Statements ...
    • ZOS needs to create and publish a missions statement for each class that they will then STICK to when nerfing/buffing altering the class in anyway. Class identity is very important as players identify with their character and become frustrated when that identity is ... crushed.

    Class Forums ...
The search feature is the only way to sort through postings.
    • These forums should be able to be sorted alphabetically and by date and people should be encouraged to list the Name of the skill they are discussing first so that the Devs and the community could more easily seek out discussions or specific skills. How many Toppling Charge broke threads do we need that state the same thing?
There should be a sticky thread at the top of each class forum for Known Bugs that should be maintained by ZOS and locked to anyone not working for ZOS.
    • The first posting should be a list (with description) of known bugs.
    • Each additional posting will be an announcement of a bug fix that has been removed from the first posting.
    • This posting can be unstickied and replaced with every major update. Though bugs not addressed will be carried over.
    • If ZOS needs more info on a bug they could ask in the community posting that reported it, or create their own thread.
There should be a Weapons Forum (which could include all weapons or be split into 2 groups (magicka/stam or 2-handed/2-pieces or whatever), an Armor Skill Forum, a Guild Skills Forum (Mages, Fighters, Undaunted, etc), Alliance Skill Forum, a World Skills Forum (Soul, Vamp, Werewolf, Legerdemain) and a Racial and Crafting Forum that should operate in similar ways.

    Class Discussion ...
Each class should have its own Discussion that will be broadcast on Twitch (just like ESO Live) ONCE per month.
    • This will be a Q&A between the customers and the Developers (and possible Testers) to discuss class issues.
    • There could be class reps (3) elected by the community who will be the voice of the class. They will select the questions from the forums. This will ensure the tough questions are not avoided and also worded in a respectful way.
    • The class reps should be representative of Magicka and Stamina builds, as well as tanking, healing, and dps in PVP and PVE.
    • It could be preference by a poll on the forums (Top 5 Least Favorite Skills and Why?) and the dev's can refer to the poll and some post they would wanted to address.
    • This discussion will include how the class interacts with armor, weapons, and other skill lines.
    • This will give the gamer insight into the class as seen by the devs and vise-versa, as there seems to be confusion like how Templar's "home" offers "protection" and is "bad" for enemies.

    Class Lead Developers ...
    • ZOS should have an employ who is CHAMPIONING each class. Look at the We are ESO podcast, no Templar. This is the way Templar feel ZOS is as well (largely due to inconsistent identity).
    • We need the faces of people who enjoy the unique play style of each class and want that class identity to show through in both Magicka and Stamina builds (like you have with NB and DK, but seems lacking in Sorc and Templar) and in all roles, without allowing their class or the others outshine each other.

Enough for now. Communication and transparency and consistency, oh my.

Problem with ZOS is they don't take PVP seriously as they do PvE

I'll use an example...The Targeting System in this game.

Does anyone remember the incredibly useful BOX that was put around your target a few patches ago..so you could ya know..keep track of who you were hitting.

Now its changed to a highlight system...Which absolutely sucks incredible ass.... Why it was changed to this i don't know...Its complete crap in actual PvP... but perfectly fine in PvE..

Its little things like that added on to the horrible lag and class balance that make this game awful to play.

    You mean RP?

PVE is a joke too, even with more content.

Quoted the bold part for truth.

In fact, we haven't had any real pvp content updates. And balance changes as DLC? Every freaking 4 months? Give me a break.

actually i do not care about any pvp content updates i give a fu.ck about arenas or dueloptions as they can be emulated allready by players themselfes, but i do care about significant performance updates wich are not delivered at all but instead making pvp performance worse every patch...

People saying 'you have no clue about the big picture', mhm, but it's really not hard to tell from the forums. The AOE caps poll had +-4000 people voting. You'd never have half that vote nowadays.

Extrapolated information that suits your needs doesn't do anything. 4,000 people voting? lol ok.

ESO sold millions of copies. Let's just say 1,000,000 people bought the game. It's more, but whatever.

so your .004% of the playerbase gives you an accurate sample size of data?

    no, not it doesn't.

Your math is terrible and you have seemingly no knowledge of statistics, please stop telling us what amount of people giving feedback is statistically relevant. Its obvious you have never taken an entry lvl stats course...
