What's wrong big guy can't run away anymore when your in trouble or reset the fight because your loosing that's a damn shame.
Sorcs with infinite shields and teleport out of battle that stuns?
DKs with 99% damage mitigation and reflects?
Templars with instant cast max heals / un c'cable?

How about to make it even we:
nerf sorc streaks removing the stun; with a shield timeout of 5 seconds
remove the ability to block and heal
then that'd be fair.
These are the class dynamics, it's just because you were all so bad, when all they needed to do was introduce a quest that teaches you how to drink potions or activate magelight
Say what now about equality? Do you even think before your fingers touch the keyboard?
I like these changes. The problem with nightblades in cyro is the lack of commitment to an attack. Too many stealth attacks are used to 'test the water' and then result in an easy escape. It is not strategic, it is bloody annoying with incredible lack of planning and does more to annoy players than get actual kills.

Was it required to make cloak useless in melee combat to achieve this?

It is far from useless. Just makes PVP 30% stealth NB instead of 80%. Ideally, PVP should be 25% for all 4 classes. Stealth itself is an overpowered mechanic. It makes me wonder why they didn't release the game with a hard counter to stealth.

You have 6 skill slots. Why equip cloak now?
I farm ic, sewers and run in cryo all the time I rarely fail to a gank from a nb I just think its funny how upset you all are over this change get over it adapt and move on.
