I thought 64bit was supposed to come with gamepad mode?

I know with Macs if one changes settings to gamepad mode it changes the UI, but was not functional. I am confused, it seems like I still cannot use a PS4 controller.

Since my Mac is running the game I know that must mean I have the 64bit version installed. Any tips?

As far as I know, PS4 controller doesn't natively work with the client (at least not windows). I use a PS3 controller but have my PC set up to trick my PC into thinking my PS3 controller is actually an Xbox controller...

@KhajitFurTrader Do you know about the Mac gamepad mode?

I do the same with my PC, but with Macs they natively work with PS4s controllers. I confirmed I can use the controller through a third party software, but Mac's have terrible mapping programs. Mine doesn't double key bind, so it's pretty much useless for ESO

For anyone who would make a comment about just running the game with my PC, it has a terrible graphics card, where as my Mac is a gaming power horse. Been waiting months for game pad update

It needs to be activated in Settings > Gameplay > GamePad (BETA). I wanted to give it a try, but somehow my iMac refused to pair reliably with the PS3 controller. Maybe I give it another go sometime.

With Macs, even if one activates it, all it does is change the UI. It's there only because the settings mirror PC version. I just found out though that gamepad will be integrated in a future update, though I don't know when.
