Not all NBs slot cloak. Nevertheless, the change done to scorching flare now seems quite useless since most NBs will have to drop cloak not for that skill, but for the bad implementation.
Anyway, what makes NBs dangerous is still there: Ambush...

Just a heads up, curse behaves like a DoT with cloak. You couldn't cleanse curse with dark cloak in the past, but if you had the shadowy disguise morph and tried to cloak while curse was on you it'd break it like a DoT.
I'm not sure if there is really an issue, but if there is it's likely related to what I said in #7.
This isn't true. The daedric curse ability always went off even with cloak up and brought you out of stealth. I know this from playing both a nb and sorc.

Tiphis✭✭✭✭I actually like how they intended cloak to be this patch, I always thought the purge was a little op, not significantly but still had no problem with it as an escape mechanic. There are enough stuff that'll drop you out of it that it only can be considered "op" against either low level people who don't have caltrops or aoe. I main a magicka temp healer in pvp, blazing shards, puncturing sweep, and inevit det make a cloaking nb at best a nuisance, at worst an easy kill.
Now that it isn't a semi-low cost purge, dots actually play more a role, on my magicka nb I used to cloak to purge dk dots before continuing the fight, didn't use it for anything other than a purge, in order for me to do the same I have to stay in stealth for longer.
Also with the lower ap skill costs caltrops are easy to get, my lvl 18 got it already.1 -

Every class can stealth and using Addons u can easily change gear quickly... Plus potions r easy to make..
In all honesty I don't see a lot of nbs in pvp, I personally think temps are more common and more op, they have those annoying healing jabs a good shield an executor and they can heal themselves instantly along with their friends via Breath of life.
Every class has its op skills. Learn to counter them instead of complaining and getting everything nerfed, then the skills are broken and unbalanced and we have to wait forever for them to be fixed.

I think it's because they are jealous that NBs kill them all the time. They look for every excuse in the game to find out why they got killed. They blame it on cloak to make them feel like they are better fighters.

And this is me being conservative. God forbid you have concealed weapons slotted as well and you end up with Speed buff and Off-Balance procs that also incorporate Exploiter. Not to mention the Health bonuses. Sure any class can get similar amounts of benefits from an active-passive-synergy, but no one comes close to NBs that can take advantage of them MULTIPLE TIMES IN A FIGHT because of invis mechanics.
I don't even play NBs and I know more about them than you do. Embarrassing...PS4 DC Stamina Templar Tank/DPS...because I ALWAYS play on hard mode
