Nightblade Surprise Attack missing Impact sound effect

The Nightblade ability Surprise Attack is missing it's impact sound effect. It just whooshes, sounding like a miss on every attack. This is very frustrating to see on live since this is something I provided plenty of feedback on in the PTS forum.
If this is intentional then I may have to reconsider playing. Doing things like the Maelstrom Arena and not being able to audibly tell when my attacks land is going to make is a very frustrating experience.
Very disappointed.
